WOW! 41 49 CHRISTINA AGUILERA RCA 14,481 0% LOTUS Puts her somewhere around 155,000.
LOTUS' estimated total worldwide sales are 217,000 units, as of now. Her last album, Bionic, eventually sold somewhere around 750,000 worldwide but my hunch is the legs on Lotus might not carry that far this time around.
So far, the US numbers have definitely outshone the int'l ones, which was the other way around with Bionic. It will be more telling after the holidays...

Bruno predicted to do 140-160K. Much better than KE$HA. I think Bruno's album is weak. Oh well!

Bruno predicted to do 140-160K. Much better than KE$HA. I think Bruno's album is weak. Oh well!
Ya know what's interesting was both Bruno and Kesha had a humongous single on the radio and in sales before release of their debut albums in 2010, eventually, Kesha's Animal debuted at #1 on BB200 (in Jan) with sales of 152,000 whereas, Bruno's Doo-Wops & Hooligans at #3 with 55,000 (in Oct). But, in the end, Bruno came out on top with 1.7mil copies sold in the US and 6mil worldwide, and Kesha trailed behind with 1.4mil US and 3mil total worldwide which were all fantastic and impressive numbers, by the way.
Now, looks like their sophomore first-week showing gonna be the other way around, would be interesting to see how it will all pan out in the end, again! I, personally, don't care for Bruno's new album at all! But, he's riding high with his radio and debut album success, plus he's got lots of cred in the biz and very likable, mainstream, etc. etc. so, yeah, we'll see...

[/IMG]
Speak of certifying early, Bruno's Unorthodox Jukebox is already certified Gold (100,000) in the UK by BPI, yet the album just debuted there on Dec 10th! ;D Then, it's Bruno...he could probably sing the phone book right now and get it certified. :4OMG:

Thanks for the list, maddie. Can't wait to see BBs Top 200. I think that won't be until January, though, right?
