A) I can envision illustrations of the north wind from children's storybooks B) redheads are especially susceptible to pain and scarring C) probably no one will copy it (what are you thinking, bamafan? For newer Atops, Bama got an infinity tattoo) D) 50% of people with tats want at least one removed after 5 years. (from a parenting redheads magazine quoted from a Tyra Banks Show--not exactly heavy research, but interesting to me. E) teddybear is a committed contrarian--or a contrarian who should be committed? F) the crazy train has rolled... G) People with tats, especially ones that have a metal in the dye, cannot get an MRI.
Have I made my opinion clear yet? Both of these theories were tested on Mythbusters and found not to be true. I'm not a big fan of tattoos myself but Adam at least chooses images that have meaning for him, so hopefully he won't have regrets later. The latest one is fascinating in its detail, but if it were me, I'd rather have it on a piece of canvas than on my body!

Ryan Murphy is also involved in American Horror Story. Was Adam's tweet just random?

Looking at the lips of this new tattoo it reminds me of the lips from the picture he drew while in Gemany? Can someone post that pic.
The reason I mention this is because if my memory is working, I would then speculate that Adam had a hand at the design image/drafting for this new tattoo.
I will reserve my opinion... I need to see it in action, as in a no sleeves performance:-) Thank you Wal!!! Well, the lips may not be exactly like I remember, but I still think Adam had a hand in the visual planning of the image:-))) He certainly is creative with his drawing too...

Where are the buddhist components of the tatoo? Maybe the third eye? (It's shaped as a spiral). Thank you and you are right. There is a "buddhist spiral" that looks just like the one in the third eye position on the tat. God I love learning about stuff like this. "Spiral - The Spiral, which is the oldest symbol known to be used in spiritual practices, reflects the universal pattern of growth and evolution. The spiral represents the goddess, the womb, fertility and life force energy. Reflected in the natural world, the Spiral is found in human physiology, plants, minerals, animals, energy patterns, weather, growth and death. The Spiral is a sacred symbol that reminds us of our evolving journey in life. When used as a personal talisman, the Spiral helps consciousness to accept the turnings and changes of life as it evolves. The acceptance of change is one of the greatest freedoms a human can experience, putting consciousness in the present moment where the power of creation is condensed. On a larger scale, using this symbol assures all beings are reminded of their inward and outward evolution, a balanced and centered state of mind. On water, it carries the power to flow and change." eta: source, www.thespiritofwater.com/SacredSymbolUses.htm

I wallow in ignorance and old wive's tales, I guess. Hmm...wonder if I qualify as an old wife myself? If, so, I'm taking my babushka and going home!

Adam deleted the first one the blueberry posted and he posted another one Adam Lambert @adamlambert New Ink instagr.am/p/SipjruuNPC/ - the left side (the right side of the face) looks like an animal side - the eye is a ram eye, the eye brow is "simpler" and almost straight, the cheek bone is flat and narrow, almost no embellishments; the horn is high and imposing - the right side is the human one - beautiful eye and eye brow, plum cheek, all kinds of flowery ornaments, the horn is round and "peaceful".... Someone needs to explain from the mythological and the astrological POV what all of this means.... would be great if Adam did it himself Euwwww...so black and huge... such gigantic tattoos just look like a dirty arm or whatever to me and why in hell is that person/face throwing up? *shudder* and if it isn't finished, how much more can anyone cram into that picture? :-/ *ducking now* ;D

The tattoo is amazing can not wait to see it finished and the colors he uses. The freckles on the face of the tattoo kind of make it a Sauli face being it is part Ram. The color may take away the freckles love to see it up close.

I am thinking that there will be no additions of color or anything else... - cause IMO he would've waited until the end of the process to tweet to the world...
