He looks great, IMO! I don't even see any bags under his eyes and he is without make-up! So we have the answer to who Rob is. He is Tour manager and Dana is Day manager! Got it!! What's a Day manager? ??? A high level personal assistant -- takes care of making sure the artist is prepped for meetings/interviews/public events and is where he needs to be, and makes sure that all provisions of the contract riders are executed. Basically handles the day-to-day business for the artist.

SlapDash - I agree with you. My initial remark yesterday was a reaction to Fever as well. IMO Johnny goes really far out... I understand that the whole choreo for Fever was designed that way - the high heels is SA... But to me his (Johnny's) movements looked a bit out of place yesterday, a farce almost... Adam's sexuality feels "real", it is coming from within, it is his essence - totally different. This is a touchy subject. Does Johnny act "too gay"? I agree, Adam is more my style but Adam supports all styles on his stage. My guess is that Adam's response would be that there are many ways to be gay. He has stood against remarks people make saying he is ok because he is not overly afeminate in support for those that are. And you are all familiar with his exboyfriend, Cheeks?! (BTW, in Husbands, Cheeks has a great explaination of purposely living up to stereotypical overtly gay behavior). I think the clearly gay Fever was Adam pushing the bounderies of accepting homosexuality without glossing it over. Adam is very savvy,he knows what he's doing...His whole band musicians, singers&dancers are all about diversity..I mean male, female, chubby, skinny, white ,African American,straight,gay...There isn't a one kind of anything or anyone, including a one kind of gay...Rainbow people,Rainbow......

I personally think Adam should have been worried about kneeling down in front of Aurea and then her putting her leg in between his knees! He should worrry about that backlash! Sure looked to me like they were getting ready for cunninglingus! ;D Hahaha!! Yep, obviously the case Cue next scandal!! ITA with Kay, this is very touchy and I think Adam would not appreciate that kind of judgment as it is no different to how he is judged all the time. I find both Johnny and Terrance fun, great performers, and very talented. The fact that they have different personalities works very well for the interplay and awesome chemistry they have with Adam and with each other. The audiences in South Africa and China seem to have loved them – so it plays to the large crowd very well. The humorous notes seem to go work great. Personally, I prefer fewer dancers with personalities of their own to the larger, uniform, generic ensembles many of the pop divas have used in the past.

@glam_alidol @adamlambert and @ashleydzerigian with fans at airport today ww3.sinaimg.cn/large/4b65f421… [/quote SlapDash - I agree with you. Are you serious right now, wow, in between reading how Johnny's too feminin (sp) acting (s.o. mentioned this on yesterday's thread) and calling Johnny's movements 'a farce almost ' I get a really sick feeling. Maybe people should consider checking their homophobia and misogyny at the door. Do you not remember how upset Adam was when a taxi driver told him he was okay because he was not 'acting' gay This discussion is fine but please be thoughtful and respectful in your posts. Just like there is no right or wrong way to be an Adam fan, there is no right or wrong way to be gay.
So disagree with the post -- OK.
Characterize the poster -- not OK.
If you have a question, please check the guidelines or PM me.

The earlier post: A discussion of a farcical performance style versus a more realistic performance style is actually a different matter and acceptable here as long as it is in context. Be careful about distinguishing between the actor/performance and the person in your posts. ** My opinion: In Western culture we have allowed and accepted an charactiture of gayness for decades on stage, on TV and in other media BUT not been as excepting of the reality and broad spectrum of gayness. Adam has actually challenged the "right way to be gay" and that IMO has been why he matters.

Guys, rather than demand that people check their comments at the door, couldn't we understand that people are all different places in their social evolution and explain rather than attack. We should also acknowledge that a great deal of this world shares far worse understanding of the complexities of homosexuality and sexuality in general. I think we should encourage the conver sation in order to help each other understand. One sided conversations get nowhere. And this really is a worthy conversation. It doesn't matter how WE perceive the overtly gay performance but how the publics will perceive it.

[/IMG]
Wouldn't it be nice if he hired me as his personal doctor? ;D ;D ;D #AGirlCanDream Anyway, he looks kinda tired, poor baby. Maybe he felt the beginning of a cold and didn't want to risk his voice, or maybe he ate something that didn't quite agree with him. Or maybe he's just a little exhausted and wanted to go home to rest and recover from the jet lag before the Cindy Lauper gig, which is understandable. Either way, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about. The boy is fine. Looks good enough to eat too. Ahem. About Fever, come on, people. We've been assured by Maddie and iilove that there's nothing to worry about, and they're the ones who know for sure. I haven't seen anything on Twitter or Weibo that could make me worry about that performance. There were no risky moves at all. And Johnny was quite fine. Why worry so much? This gorgeous, talented man was LOVED by MILLIONS this weekend. The press loved him, the media loved him. Let's enjoy it!
I agree with everything you said here except the "he looks kinda tired" part. I thought he looked great in those airpport videos (the one where you can see his face anyway ;D). Especially considering he was sans makeup! But the rest of your post re Johnny's performance - a resounding YES!
