I love that Sauli is in NY -- all the Christmas stuff and shop windows. He's probably been there before during this time of year but maybe not. You know, it's time's like these (livestream fiascos) that I've come to really appreciate Kiev! Definately a suprise and such a treat. I sat here during that entire concert with my chin on my hands just dumb struck. I give all the people who try to record major props for their efforts. Don't think Sauli has ever been in NYC during the Holidays. |

Very few theatres have recording policies - is the artist or more usually artist management that sets up what they will and won't allow. Security are just doing what they are instructed to do, they are not trying to be asses, just trying to honor the wishes of the people who pay them!
My other half who runs security at venues hates it when artists say they don't want filming or photography because he knows he and his staff are in for a shit night arguing with people and confiscating cameras because people think it's their "right" to film no matter what the conditions on the ticket and posted in the venue are.
So next time you are asked to stop filming by security be nice and do as they ask. They aren't being assholes they are just trying to do their job.
