One of these days Lambert and Levine should team up for a duet. The people writing about it would go bonkers trying to identify which Adam was which.
Honest to god, that would be so full of win! Funny and entertaining. (I know most people here don't like him but I get a kick out of Adam Levine. ) I have no problem with Adam Levine -- and I like his and Maroon 5's music. But I would rather have pass on the Adam + Adam Levine duet. But I wish the press would get it. There is Adam and Adam Levine. Simple.

19E does have merchandise rights. What %, I have no idea. It seems to run for 4-5 years based on them not having Jordin's anymore. However, the person up thread who said Adam said once that he does not have a 360 is correct. ETA: WHOA!!!! That article you linked completely made stuff up from the original NY Tiumes article they were citing! Here is the NY Times quote, right from the original article!! The winner is not the only contestant who earns after the show. Last year the runner-up — Adam Lambert, whose first-week album sales were more than double those of Mr. Allen — earned $300,000 in advance royalties for his album, a $75,000 merchandising contract and $50,000 in fees from Disney World for the Idol Experience attraction. That's it! Nothing about a 360 deal at all! Here it is: www.nytimes.com/2010/02/24/arts/television/24idol.html?_r=0
Thanks, mys*&@^#r!! I was gonna bring over the same original article, you beat me to it!
I think the blogger from "bmlawgroup" just used the term 360 loosely, 'cuz in essence, the Idol contract works pretty much like a 360 deal. Quoting Q3 from last May:
"Adam does not have a 360 degree deal with Sony Music Entertainment/RCA. Adam has close to a 360 degree deal with 19 -- it covers record deal, concerts, appearances, merchandising, etc.
RCA has all recorded music, videos, ringtones, all recorded music sales, music licensing and radio. They also funded the international promo tour to promote FYE in other markets.
Adam has a record contract with 19R (19 Recordings). 19R licensed Adam's music to Sony/RCA. If Sony/RCA drops Adam, he will still have a contract with 19R.
19 Entertainment has a contract with Sony Music Entertainment for AI Seasons 5 - 9. We do not know the terms of that contract but Sony pays 19R who pays part of the advance to the artists and part to Simon Cowell and keeps some for themselves. This agreement ended in AI9."

Adam Lambert @adamlambert@outmagazine Levine? Lol of course ETA: He is referring to this article-- www.out.com/out-exclusives/gentlemanly-pursuits/2012/10/17/four-best-mens-haircuts#.UMaDswkhwN9.twitter1. The New Rocker"One of the most-popular, most-requested haircuts is aggressively close on the sides and back, and significantly longer on the top," Bair says. " Adam Levine has been currently rocking this look. It’s easy, simple and clean, which is always a hit with the active gent. Just throw some putty in for a bit of matte look and hold on that longer top hair." Levine ??? :4OMG: :4OMG: :4OMG:

:D The Spindleshay @thespindleshay @outmagazine helpful tip - if the guy in the pic has no shirt on, it's Levine. if he's wearing one or more shirts, it's Lambert.

Uurrhh, if so, is Adam in danger as the label hasn't profited from album sales? Can he tour? Who will pay for the tour?
