Think Queerty really meant "dearth"? If so, quite a diss to the ladies on the program Sunday. (FYI, "dearth" means a significant shortage or lack of something).

Yes I think they meant it because several articles have mentioned that Adam is the only one qualified to be on this show. But that was before Kelly and a few others were added. I think it is because they think of DIVAs as Mariah, Celine, Aretha etc. But that show was done quite a few years ago. They can't keep having the same people every year. It seems that VH1 made a conscious effort to make the DIVAs show younger this year!

Yeah, I think they meant dearth cause there aren't any of the "traditional" big names like Beyonce or Mariah or Mary J or Celine or Ella or Aretha or Christina, etc etc. All the names for Sunday's show are sort of divas-in-training.. or mini-divas.

That's what I think too. Really - are any of these ladies announced for the show real DIVAS? Yeah - mini-divas maybe - or divas with training wheels. ;D

Hmm did they photoshop his face? Looks really thin.. :-/ It is remarkable when the original looks better than the photo-shopped magazine picture, isn't it. Am I the only one who thinks that Adam's natural jawline and his natural features are significantly more attractive than this one? (eta: I am talking about the picture on last page, not the one posted right above) And while the other pics in the magazine go for a very specific look, I don't think this picture meets those other pictures on the same level. But the photo-shopping does not help either. By the way, I notice the photo-shopping in the other pics too, they just did not go as far as to re-arrange his whole face. ;D Overall, still very well done, and I'd say of the fashion magazine ones this one ranks pretty high for me. They really went for a concept that allows both the subject as well as their stylistic idea to shine. These pictures are interesting in ways the Fault ones or the one done by Mike Ruiz were not. My favorites are magazines like INRock and not the pure fashion magazines, but this was great work, imo.
