I have to agree that FYE seemed to translate live better. But that could be me reacting to the back up singers who I have never warmed too. Although I'll say in general rock edge stuff seems to work better live - more grunt and it's hard to give more pop style music grunt. (i just used grunt twice in one sentence - time to go do some work or something LOL) I do think that rock stuff translates better live, but I might be biased. I've always been a rocker. ;D ETA: I love Trespassing very much. I haven't tired of it, and I don't think I will anytime soon. But I listened to FYE for the first time today, so I'm in no place to compare.

och well ,my opinion,s worth diddly shit ,but i,ll but in anyway (and prob get kicked off the board for it) i burnt out 3 copy,s of fye i think one copy of trespassing will last a long time ,at first i loved it ,but then it wore off i have a few tracks on playlists ,but there are more tracks on trespassing i discarded than fye. but that does not make me a bad fan ,just not a fan of funk and pop music ,also i think the music of fye transfered better to "live " than the music of trespassing does ,well some of it anyway, so hurl the rocks ,like i said my opinion,s worth diddly shit I have to agree that FYE seemed to translate live better. With BU singers they sound different. But BU singers give Adam more room to improvise. It's a trade off!

Where did that song "Hold On" come from? or is it "Hold Back".
How many of you here openly endorse Adam Lambert? Do all your friends and family know you love him? Do you have his videos on your facebook page? Would you put his calendar up in your office at work? When someone asks you who you listen to do you say Adam Lambert? I'm just curious. I post his video's on my facebook page and have yet to receive a comment from friends and family. I wonder if they're rolling their eyes. I openly discuss my love for Pink Floyd and Queen and really anything from more my era. But, I tend to be a little hesitant to say I absolutely adore Adam Lambert. I think perhaps I cool it because of my age and I don't want to confess to being totally taken. Then again, I'm afraid to speak up because if I'm talking to someone younger, it may make it uncool for them to like Adam because I do. This may be exactly why he gets so much on-line support because his older fans can stay "cloaked". I don't know, I should absolutely be talking up his music. Instead, when I do talk him up, it's about his live shows and not about his releases. I don't know, I feel kind of guilty that I don't openly support like a true fan should -- maybe that will be my NYE resolution!

We all have different music taste. idk if 'FYE seemed to translate live better'. Since I've never seen him live. But from what I watched on YT. I love his OTT stuff which can only be found on GNT and in some pre-idol stuff & on idol. TSP is another chapter, more grounded live vibe more freely. Plus his voice and singing style have changed in TSP era comparing to FYE era. But, IMO, some songs in TSP may not sound better live than CD versions due to the perfect production. (OK, when I say live I mean live YT or live TV ;D) IDK :dunno: . maybe FYE sounds more current whereas TSP sounds more retro. I like FYE but I love TSP cuz I love funk and electronic music (the music quality and production are really miles better imo ). ;D
