I just listened to ROL on the website and it was much better than what i heard on my tv and I liked all but the very beginning of it on tv Just my opinion. Yes, I think they just did not have his mic turned up enough at the beginning. If he is off key then I can't tell it, but then I would not be one to know. |

Tonight has been a total win for Adam. Shit happens but he pulled it together. As for his outfit--SRSLY? This is Adam, someone yall have been stanning for 3 + years and this makes you feel sick and sad and have AMA feelings all over again? Maybe you should remember who you are staning LOL. Anyways he rocked it. It was wild and cray and silly. If you want boring and safe go stan a wgwg u know? Very important night for Adam ... Your interpretion of my thoughts are out of line! Perception checking is everything!I could of/should have been more clear. Well maybe lucky those of you are listening to it on TV heard something different! The stream was like barely audible at the beginning ...and did get better but you could not clearly hear the words to the song...(Adam is usually clear as a bell). I was sick for him. Nothing at all to do with my displeasure of ADAM! Glad to hear the live version was better that what I heard.
From my TV you could clearly tell it was a sound glitch at the beginning, every live performance bears the risk of not having a perfect sound but that hasn't really ruined any singers' careers because of one imperfect performance. Remember Lana Del Rey's horrible SNL performance, she has sold almost 3 millions CDs this year and is the #4 best-selling artist of 2012 in the world, and AMA... 
Overall, Adam sounded great so new audience would draw their own conclusions, bottom line is people that would dig artists like Adam will check him out, if not their cupa then it doesn't matter how good he sounds.  |

Just watched the live broadcast capture over at neonlight and Ray of Light is no where near as "bad" as it seemed on the live stream (which was really distorted). Actually was pretty awesome performance that I would imagine was extremely cool live. I know lots would love him to just stand in one spot and sing something with big notes and big emotions but I really kinda like off the hook, slightly out of breath, weird symbols wearing, not quite so perfect Adam. I just check a recording from the live stream -- YIPES, it did not sound like that on my TV. Now I get the comments!! lol Yes, I'm still here... I'm hopeless. Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it seemed in the live stream. Can't wait to hear it in good quality then! |

I'm going to bed but wanted to point out that this show was full of win for Adam He performed more than any of the other artists tonight, with three different performances!! Vh1 picked brilliantly when they asked him to host and I bet the realize it! Such a great night for Adam and for us as fans!  I just listened again to ROL a couple many times and I LOVE it! I play the sound check he did of it all the time. He sang it tonight in a lower key and I loved it, too. The only problem for me in the beginning was that it could have been louder. I guess I don't have an ear for pitch problems. He was fantastic tonight....as a host and as a singer!  |
