Just finished watching the neonlimelight video and it was much better than the ustream. Not only was Adam's voice off with the ustream but so was the mix - couldn't hear much of the background music etc. With the better quality videos he still sounds a little off in the beginning but I bet everyone was so busy going WTF is he wearing? they didn't notice. Then he pulled it together - better to end well, that's what people will remember. All inall, agreat night. Peace out. The sound for that beginning was completely off in the theatre. I couldn't hrear anything. Then I heard Adam being "off." I think there was a technical glitch and nothing was going into Adam's ears or the audience! It was very quick though. It doesn't matter. As usual he was the consummate professional and just powered through it and I FUCKIN' LOVED RAY OF LIGHT!!! I mean, it doesn't get much better than Adam wearing a melvin and a weird Russian medieval tunic thing with what looked like rubber boots and running all over the stage with a troop of adoring hot dancers. I mean, how on earth can you beat THAT!!!!! |

I just finished watching Divas on the West Coast, and I am just thrilled by how awesome Adam was. Opening skit could not have been more charming, funny or endearing. Who could not love him after seeing that? Hosting duties again an A+. Loved all the costume changes, and he looked gorgeous in all of them because he has that FACE. Singing as always was great. Honestly I was a little afraid to watch ROL, but I loved it very much. Maybe I have a tin ear, but I thought he sounded great and powerful just a little at at first. Loved the complete oddness of the tunic with the beautiful Russian writing. A complete win of an evening for him. Oh was it Russian?  |

The TV got the sound, but Adam and the theater didn't. |
