I remember, when both ROL and Let's Dance were big hits (and Hot Stuff :D). Loved them then and love them now, And Adam's version of them all was excellent. After all the comments I was so afraid to watch ROL, but it was perfect. PERFECT! Not the same as Madonna's, as he made it his own as usually. I really don't find this song boring at all, it has a very special mood in it, and Adam brought it up so beautifully. THANK YOU UNIVERSE FOR ADAM! |

Omigosh, omigosh, so it was awesome?!??
I have this funny personality quirk in that I truly believe things go wrong when I watch high stakes live performances. So I didn't watch. I peeked at the thread at one point, saw from comments that Adam was doing fine and geared my self up to peek at the stream...just when he started singing Ray of Light OFF KEY!!! Ack!!! So, you see, it was MY fault!!!
I stopped watching right away, and will now go search out vids!

Morning Atopians, Just a quick comment this morning about Adam's Ray of Light. I watched it on my TV last night and I love it and still love it. Though from what I heard on my TV, he has a bit problem with lower notes on the first few second. HOWEVER.. I watched and listened to it again from this VH1 website, I don't hear that problem. I seldom agree with you teddy, Ha but this time I have to kinda agree with you... It's not because Adam didn't do a great job, because he DID! but I prefer the Idol Tour version of Let's dance to this arrangement and I didn't like they use the electrical song effect at the very beginning (is that so called auto-tuned?) I guess I just want Adam to show off his amazing voice more. I liked all his costumes, ya, including that tunic, hahahaha! And I love love love that skit. sooooo funny. Adam should have his own show! He's hilarious! And Paula, so sweet to see her acting with Adam... The electrical sound effect at the very beginning was done with a vocorder - think T-Pain. I thought it sounded cool and kind of trippy. |
