Simon said that for one performance. He never ONCE ever criticuzed a vocal of Adam's! ZERO! But this person on twitter sounds like a waste of tme to me. Actually, sounds like a 12 year old. She's totally an ignorant kid, that's for sure. But I can't contain myself. They can say they don't like Adam's voice, or that they don't like him as a person, or whatever. But to say he's a bad singer rubs me the wrong way. :  It gripes my butt to no end, too. That is why I finally got pissed and wrote a response to the "Adam can't sing" meme in the Vocal Masterclass. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=vocal&action=display&thread=28&page=57Angelina Kalahari has written very knowledgeably and passionately about Adam's voice, and she, a professional opera singer and highly sought after vocal coach should know better than anyone. A friend at work told me today she saw a short piece about Divas with Adam in it on our Israeli "Entertainment News" last night. As far as I know, it's the only entertainment news show in Israeli TV, it airs every night, and it's got decent ratings. If you want to see for yourself a Hebrew report of the Divas show, here's the link: bidur.nana10.co.il/Category/?CategoryID=400757First you have to skip the ad (there's a small arrow on the top left), and then it's the first video. It will start playing automatically, and if it won't, choose the first video. Adam's segment start around 23:00 minutes. First they show the very beginning, where Demi Lovato speaks about the shooting tragedy, then they move straight to Adam singing Hot Stuff, saying VH1 does not give prizes in this show, but salutes the 6 great singers of America as of right now, in their opinion, all of them less of a Diva than the host - American Idol finalist Adam Lambert (showing some more from Hot Stuff). It's said in a good way. Then they go on to show Kelly C., Jordin Sparks and the Whitney tribute, and finish up with Miley. (I don't know where they got the "6 divas" idea. Is it true?) |
