[/quote] God, I wish I had gone to the show and after party. I am kicking myself. I live in CA and could have easily flown down. Does anyone know how much the tickets ended up costing? I just assumed a lot and never bothered to make any plans. |

Thanks for the link. I wanted to only watch BB's portion after I watched the whole show few days ago. I wanted to say that if I was a casual fan watching this Diva show, I wouldn't think that BB was gay...I believe his melvin jr makes him look more masculine than ever. Of course I would think people tuning in to watch vh1 Divas are also aware of who Adam Lambert is and that he is gay. Still...just as a casual watcher, I really don't see him (esp with his 'tache & goatee) as gay; in fact watching just now makes me feel like I want to "jump" him (oh god, he is so highly attractive) -- but then BB is just one gorgeous male species!!! : : My brother who was gay had a 'tache & goatee'. I am sure plenty of people know gay people who come in all shapes / sizes / with or without facial hair. In 2012, most of the audience who will have been watching this will not have given it any thought, totally a non-issue for the age demographic It's getting to be a non-issue for many in the younger demographic but still plenty of those for whom it is and a whole ton for those in my age bracket such as who I was watching with who totally ignored the girl singers dancing with the girl dancers but had to make a comment about Adam singing with guy dancers. : I tend to agree that lookwise the melvin just does it for me too, even in his younger incarnations. Maybe guamgurl and I are just attacted to facial hair. My DH certainly looks better to me in his which is one reason he's worn it for 20+ years. |
