I guess that's true but not in Adam's case. He recently declined to even say Merry Christmas when a DJ asked him too. I guess Adam wanted to be inclusive..Sometimes it feels a little funny when everyone takes it for granted that you celebrate Xmas. I thought about the same thing when I saw the poll on Christmas songs; Adam + a Christmas song didn't sound quite right. Even if there are indeed a few very beautiful Christmas songs. But talking about people assuming that everyone celebrates Christmas: I got a religious Christmas card from our CEO at work yesterday. The same card was sent to all hundreds of employees. I celebrate Christmas on some level, but I am not religious, so I found it a little odd. It's even more odd when you think that among those hundreds of people we have quite a few non-Christians, let alone non-religious people. I found it a little less than well thought through, even if I am sure it was well meaning. |

ETA: Stardust: yes he said so, but in a different context. He was talking a about a girl friend at school who was called BJ... double meaning, you know. Naughty boy :-) Wasn't BJ the black girl who taught Adam to kiss? I believe that is what he said, but you never know with my poor memory! |

As I remember, GNT grossed 6 million. Well below the top 10 in the link you posted. I remember that but that was 2010. the cost of Adam tickets for GNT was below reasonable. I don't know what Madonna tickets averaged but they started at about 45 and went to 355 aprox. and of course the venues were larger. I don't know how Adam has been paid. I would assume part ticket sales and part artist fees. What he made from Queen or from Hennessy? Just curious as I assume most of the concerts he is doing now is cash flow for him especially since it sounds as if he will not be touring in 2013. Add in also his TV appearances, magazine photo/stories that may or may not pay that much but still improves his "brand" According to this site, and I have no idea of its validity Adam makes 6M a year www.paywizard.org/main/VIPPaycheck/male-musicians-salariesI still have hopes for some dates in the US or I may seriously have to think about rehap. |
