My Fears Over Fronting QueenThis article is featured in the latest edition of Classic Rock, dated January 2013 and on sale now. The issue is dedicated to The Best Of 2012: the ultimate review of the past 12 months.) No one really expected a comeback from Queen, especially not one involving a 30-year-old show tunes fanatic they first met on American Idol. Many were highly sceptical about the culture clash and, when Sonisphere was cancelled, pointed the finger at the unlikely alliance. Then singer Adam Lambert took to the stage with Queen at Hammersmith Odeon in July with a unique combination of humility and flamboyance – and the first voice to hit all the notes since George Michael. Adam Lambert became the first out gay artist to have a number one album on Billboard's album chart. No wonder he was given the honor of covering Madonna at VH1's Divas concert special, an event he also hosted. www.towleroad.com/2012/12/gay-surge-150-game-changing-wins-2012-gayest-year-ever.html#.UNyY5G_-p_Y.twitterThe Most Compelling LGBT People Of 2012Adam Lambert (#17) The glam rocker and former "American Idol" finalist released his sophomore album, "Trespassing," in May, which made the top of the Billboard album charts and made Lambert the first openly gay artist to achieve that honor. Lambert took to Twitter to acknowledge his accomplishment saying, "Thank you to the Glamily for helping me make HISTORY!" Since officially coming out in 2009, Lambert has been vocal about LGBT rights, appearing at different marriage equality benefits this year and performing with Cyndi Lauper in her "Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays," which raised awareness on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth homelessness and supports the True Colors Fund's Forty to None Project More: www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/27/most-compelling-lgbt-people-2012_n_2347769.html#slide=1824917Other NewsSnapshot: December 17 A kiss for the host. These super bad (in the James Brown way), pimp-tastic pop playas are looking “fly i i i i i i i i i i” in their furs and animal print… But which one wore this look best? Primo penny saver Macklemore looks utterly fantastic in his fur duds from the local thrift shop. Sipping on a Slurpee and hitching a ride on a female-powered scooter, Mack proves that you can be cheap and chic all at the same time. On the other hand, there’s the equally bada– Adam Lambert, who is channeling his inner ’70s gangster in this brown fur jacket and leopard-print shirt (you can’t see it here, but he’s wearing leopard loafers to match). Lambert rocked this brown on brown on brown look at the VH1 Divas concert in 2012, and as usual, he looked confident and eye-catching. more: surfme.org/macklemore-adam-lambert-who-wore-it-bestUpcoming EventsCheck the Adamtopia calendar for more events and links to more info. Had to post this again and have your support! Q3 approved my idea for a new thread!!! He will do it during the weekend. The idea has been hovering in my mind since I became addicted to Adam last week of October this year. It is about PLOTTING for ADAM!! Now instead of fan arts which many of us can only admire but do not have the talent, but we do have our imagination to plot storylines for Adam in TV. Example, how would you like Adam to appear back in PLL! So let your imagination and fantasies run wild and support my very first thread!!! Don't post the storyline here but wait for my thread!!!! By the way, I do not sing. My voice perhaps can sing half-octave and I would be lucky if I hit the right notes. But I have my imagination for Adam -- sorry, not sexy and wild -- but plots to expose his voice! !! He,he,he ;D ;D ;D But you can still post your imagination... whatever it is, be it as a host or weatherman.

There are 2 event spaces inside the Mercedes-Benz Arena: The Mixing Room & MUSE (with capacity of over 800) and the main arena (full capacity 18,000), which can be partitioned and divided to accommodate concerts/events from 4,000 seats to 12,000. (source: www.mercedes-benzarena.com ). Adam's Shanghai concert on March 3 will be held in the main arena with 5000 seats. To just give us some idea, below is the seating chart for that configuration from a past concert, performed by a very popular Japanese group back in last March: (courtesy of @alidol
>>> the grey area is blocked off and the beige are all suites (not for sale).
Also, here is a short vid from that Japanese group if you wanna get a "live" feel of that space.

ETA: had to add one more thing...Animated, you're an amazing artist!

Much more Manila Info by FAN CLUB member Lhy Lambert: Change of venue for the Trespassing Tour in Manila, from the Mall of Asia Arena to Smart-Araneta Coliseum a.k.a The Big Dome. This is a review paolodelrosario.wordpress.com/2012/07/12/the-moa-arena-the-big-dome/ .....When it comes to seating capacity The Big Dome is a little bit bigger (it's the largest indoor facility in Asia) than the MOA Arena (more pressure for us Philamberts). But on the other hand, when it comes to design, MOA Arena is way way way more modern and beautiful. CAPACITY First let’s check out the capacity of the two venues. The Smart Araneta Coliseum holds a slight edge at this category with the ability to seat around 15,000 and provide standing room for around 8,000. In the modern era, the Big Dome holds a record of holding 23,892 people for a basketball game. The MOA Arena, according to their website, has a seating capacity of around 15,000 as well with the ability to hold up to 20,000 people at full house. Looking at the way the MOA Arena interior is built though, I am not quite sure how they plan to accommodate the standing room only crowd. Perhaps we will have to wait for a PBA Final or an Ateneo-La Salle game at the MOA Arena to find out! Pic: Smart-Araneta Coliseum a.k.a The Big Dome.

Perhaps we will have to wait for a PBA Final or an Ateneo-La Salle game at the MOA Arena to find out! Pic: Smart-Araneta Coliseum a.k.a The Big Dome. As I have posted, my source was from the website of Araneta itself. In concerts, the back of the stage is not filled up and that is about 1/3 of the full seating capacity. The front of the concert is seated - vip or patron style if you like - and so they are comfortable seats. Yes, they can accommodate much more. I attended AI 11 concert. The aisles were packed with people standing , and ordinarily they should be vacant. I am sure they turned a lot of people away. Jessica and Colton will hold a concert Feb 14 in the same venue. For earning second place, Jessica earned lots of fans and more earnings than her idol stint from her ads -- Bench and Smart. PBA is a crazy sports event - the coliseum filled with students, etc. I expect the finals will be packed, more closely than sardines. Basketball stars have their own fandom. Two, I think, went so far as elected senators. You can also glimpse a lot of cinema stars and starlets cheering for their own idol.
