I don't see this on Russell's timeline ??? It's there. You have to click on "All" because he was replying to a fan that asked him if he saw Adam's opinion of Les Mis. ahhh thanks...I don't have a twitter so I don't know how it works! That is pretty cool indeed! I love that he included Adam in his @ reply so perhaps Adam would see it!! So much for Adam burning bridges in Hollywood. ;D

Found this recap of Bali on Twitter: Happy New Year guys what an amazing way to open the NEW YEAR spending it with Adam Lambert, we were so close I could nearly touch him. The guy is amazing live, his voice gave me chills. His dancers you have to see to believe, they were extraordinary, his back up singers rocked the house, the drummer was on the far side of the stage and he had energy plus and a fabulous smile, the organist/dancer/singer was entertaining just by himself lol, the lead guitarist was brilliant just wish he would have shown a little more personality but I guess the younger ones would have thought he was pretty cool, at the end he tossed his guitar pluck ( or whatever its called ) to the right of me to 3 young girls and almost started a war pmsl and he smiled for the 1st time and I wish we would have seen more. I can't tell you how excited I was when Adam 1st came on stage, felt like a 16 year old again, he gave 150% from the moment he walked on stage till he left and his voice live is something quite special, god he looks like Elvis, guys whether you like Adam Lambert or not if you get the chance go see him perform, he's just brilliant. The food and set up of the room was just beautiful, we had lobster, lobster mornay, the biggest oysters I have ever seen (yummy) and sweets galore. We could only take pictures with the phone so they arn't the best, I will put them up later, Don managed to take a little bit of video at the end and I'll post that too. That was the BEST NEW YEARS EVE I have ever spent in my life and the start of a great year .... I have such a good feeling about this year and seeing the New Year in with Adam Lambert couldn't have been better. I hope all have you feel as good about this year as we do ... Luv Pat xxxxThis is so awesome :2tears:

The Hugh Grant "quote" is a joke made on twitter by a super funny, super interesting (in my opinion) FAN of Adam's (I lurk).
But Russel Crowe really did respond, didn't he? I am glad he doesn't seem to have taken personal offense at anything Adam tweeted (Crowe has had some temper issues before . . . )
The sheer NUMBER of comments that some of these articles about Adam's tweets are getting (especially Yahoo) would be, to me, daunting. I wonder if Adam is at all freaked out or just "WTF?" about it.
Some people think Adam tweeted what he did in order to get press, "stir the pot,' etc. I'd bet my bottom dollar he tweeted simply because it's of interest to him and he had his opinions that he wanted to share, BUT even if he thought it would get noticed I don't think anyone would have expected it to get noticed as much as it has. I suppose it sets up such easy - and what for many "feels good" - responses ("sour grapes," "who are you to judge?") that many "commenters" just couldn't pass it up. And then, of course, you can add the stupid hate crap.
It's sort of a strange turn of events, to me.

The Yahoo article about Adam's opinion had over 8500 comments this morning!! Most of the comments say "Adam Lambert is irrelevant!" :4OMG: I guess all those people who took the time to comment do not see the irony in their responses!!

The Hugh Grant "quote" is a joke made on twitter by a super funny, super interesting (in my opinion) FAN of Adam's (I lurk). LOL hugh jackman...hugh grant is the british actor from Knotting Hill yes, Russell is known to not be the nicest or most gracious celebrity so his agreement with Adam was a nice surprise. I also think he recognizes that it was his vocals that Adam was most likely referring to since he's been singled out by critics. With as busy as Adam has been traveling and doing the Bali show and just basically enjoying his time with friends and Sauli I'd be surprised if he's even aware of the stir he caused in the mainstream media. Adam has said before that he doesn't think that far ahead so people who claim his comments were intentional to generate attention don't know much about him. I know there are a lot of trolls/anti-fans who push this meme that Adam is an attention whore but I think he's just honest and vocal with his opinions.

And, to put things in perspective, the Yahoo article on Kim Kardashian's pregnancy has over 9500 comments.
