Glad to see RC's answer to Adam's rant. I've been quite surprised by the amount of nasty articles about his opinion. Wow, it's just an opinion! WTF?! ??? Most of it is just an opinion, the "pretend singers" part is an insult and I think that's what they're all focusing on. Surprised people are still talking about it though Yeah, that part was a little bit harsh. He did say "great actors" first, though. I think it's clear he was a little bit upset about the vocals. He probably had just seen the movie and needed to vent. Only, he's not a nobody. What he says matters to a lot of people. Actually, it matters to a lot more people than I realized, judging from all the articles and the comments. But ultimately, he has the credibility to talk about it, because he actually had a career in musical theater before Idol. It's what he thought of the movie, he's not the only one who thought that, and people should at least respect his opinion. :-/ Have you watched the movie? What do you think?

Found this recap of Bali on Twitter: Happy New Year guys what an amazing way to open the NEW YEAR spending it with Adam Lambert, we were so close I could nearly touch him. The guy is amazing live, his voice gave me chills. His dancers you have to see to believe, they were extraordinary, his back up singers rocked the house, the drummer was on the far side of the stage and he had energy plus and a fabulous smile, the organist/dancer/singer was entertaining just by himself lol, the lead guitarist was brilliant just wish he would have shown a little more personality but I guess the younger ones would have thought he was pretty cool, at the end he tossed his guitar pluck ( or whatever its called ) to the right of me to 3 young girls and almost started a war pmsl and he smiled for the 1st time and I wish we would have seen more. I can't tell you how excited I was when Adam 1st came on stage, felt like a 16 year old again, he gave 150% from the moment he walked on stage till he left and his voice live is something quite special, god he looks like Elvis, guys whether you like Adam Lambert or not if you get the chance go see him perform, he's just brilliant. The food and set up of the room was just beautiful, we had lobster, lobster mornay, the biggest oysters I have ever seen (yummy) and sweets galore. We could only take pictures with the phone so they arn't the best, I will put them up later, Don managed to take a little bit of video at the end and I'll post that too. That was the BEST NEW YEARS EVE I have ever spent in my life and the start of a great year .... I have such a good feeling about this year and seeing the New Year in with Adam Lambert couldn't have been better. I hope all have you feel as good about this year as we do ... Luv Pat xxxxThank you mys*&@^#r50! I am zuper happy whenever I see peeps talk about how they are amazed by Adam's voice. Yeah

I am sure that is what they want. More people will flock to the theatres to hear the vocals now. The buzz was what is expected for the film to be a top-grosser. The producers will thank him for it - though not openly.
Whatever happens, it will not dent Russell's and Hugh's careers. They are big stars known for their non-singing roles.
Goodness - Adam: entertainer, singer, TV host, song-writer, actor, weatherman, production manager, artist (including makeup artist)... and now entertainment critic! Have I left out something?
