I think it's really interesting that both Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman have commented on the fact that in many takes, the director Tom Hooper took the more talk-like take than the better singing take. Makes me wonder if perhaps they were both a bit taken aback by the final cut.

I am sure that is what they want. More people will flock to the theatres to hear the vocals now. The buzz was what is expected for the film to be a top-grosser. The producers will thank him for it - though not openly. Whatever happens, it will not dent Russell's and Hugh's careers. They are big stars known for their non-singing roles. Goodness - Adam: entertainer, singer, TV host, song-writer, actor, weatherman, production manager, artist (including makeup artist)... and now entertainment critic! Have I left out something? OMG I googled to find a "hoopla magnet" picture .... first link is mostly pictures of Adam ;D ;D ;D |

By the way, your comment that both you and Adam are starting to look alike as the day passes by ... I suspect you have the Melvin look? Sorry I am searching my mind for the proper term, but what came out are beard, scruffy look, moustache ... It seems Atopians are divided between Melvin and squeaky clean. I like best the look pictured in revlisacat's avatar. |

Would someone who has never searched Adam get the same answer? I know my purchases and searches influence what ads I see as well as You Tube recommendations.
