I like to think of his recent facial hair as Melvin, Jr. (I really did not like the original Melvin -- way too dark.) Anyhow, I kind of like Melvin, Jr. -- makes him look devilishy handsome!

www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/posts/la-et-ms-adam-lambert-les-miz-comments-20130103,0,722827.story Adam Lambert fans flames again with latest 'Les Miz' commentsBy Reed Johnson January 3, 2013 Adam Lambert is humming a different refrain about the movie version of "Les Misérables" after his Twitter critique of the Oscar-covetous film went viral. Instead of damning the movie with faint praise, Lambert now is praising it with faint damns. In one of his initial Dec. 30 posts about "Les Miz," Lambert wrote: "Visually impressive w great Emotional performances. But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers" A few hours ago, Lambert felt called to expand his views. "Those raw and real moments when characters broke down or were expressing the ugliness of the human condition were superb," Lambert tweeted in one of his follow-up postings. "However," he added, "My personal opinion: there were times when the vocals weren't able to convey the power, beauty and grace that the score ALSO calls for." Lambert goes on to suggest that he finds the film soundtrack inferior to previous recordings of the Claude-Michel Schönberg/Alain Boublil musical. "I guess I'm a purist for the original LIVE broadway recording when the actors sang the .... outta those songs. JUST an opinion...." "I should prob stop fanning the flames on this one...but i love a good debate- couldnt help myself," Lambert continued. "One last thing though: Anne Hathaway was so good- had me tearing up. Oscar worthy performance for sure!" For the record, Lambert isn't the only critic to take issue with the holiday-season hit at the box office.

www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/adam-lambert-i-couldnt-help-voicing-opinion-on-les-miz-20130103Adam Lambert: I 'Couldn't Help' Voicing Opinion on 'Les Miz'Pop star clarifies viral critique of Tom Hooper's new musical JANUARY 3, 2013 4:20 PM ET Adam Lambert caused a bit of stir when he tweeted his reactions to Tom Hooper's Les Miserables last week, opining that the musical numbers should have been recorded and polished in a studio rather than sung raw. "I should prob stop fanning the flames on this one," the pop singer tweeted a few days later, "but i love a good debate – couldn't help myself." In his initial critique, Lambert called the film "visually impressive w great Emotional performances. But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers." Though Lambert praised the performances from Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen, and noted it was "cool" the vocals were recorded live, he added "with that cast, they should have studio recorded and sweetened the vocals." A few days later another member of the cast, Russell Crowe, responded on Twitter: "I don't disagree with Adam, sure it could have been sweetened, Hooper wanted wanted it raw and real, that's how it is." After Lambert's review went viral, the singer clarified his comments over a string of tweets, revealing his particular love of the original Broadway cast recording: "Those raw and real moments when characters broke down or were expressing the ugliness of the human condition were superb. However… there were times when the vocals weren't able to convey the power, beauty and grace that the score ALSO calls for."

He still looks stunning to me with the Melvin, but I find that his clean shaven face more loveable at fist sight than Melvin,, and I just want him to have more fans. He will knock more strangers or even haters dead with his clean face than with Melvin. I am sure there would be more drooling over his beauty from Vietnamese press and he will gain more Vietnamese fans this time if he didn't have facial hair.
That is the only reason for me to prefer his clean face

Perhaps Les Miz Gate is not all bad....
After not being in the Top 1000 for a while, Trespassing (Deluxe album) has been hanging around 960-980 today.
Not sure it is related to Les Miz but what else is there?
ETA: Also some of the Google Translations are too funny!! I think that they need to work on their Vietnamese!
