I remember in an interview Adam was asked about facial hair and he said he preferred facial hair to no facial hair. I remember being surprised as Adam was always pretty clean shaven himself. I can't remember if that was in general or for boyfriends. Someone out in Atop land will find/remember that interview. I thought I remembered an interview back in FYE era where Adam said he DIDN'T like face hair, maybe it was in reference to beards, because it was to scratchy. As I remember, it was in response to some guy with a beard who obviously had a crush on Adam. Am I remembering correctly? This one I remember, an interview with Byron Cooke.

But the one I think you mean was one that Adam said he did not like men with scratchy beards but he wasn't referring to his own beard.

Perez Hilton @perezhilton@adamlambert Adam Lambert Clarifies Cruel Les Misérables Critique perez.ly/S7VOOb Aaron Hicklin @aaronhicklin@perezhilton @adamlambert I've yet to see it, but everyone I trust has had the same critique - and frankly Tom Hooper is an awful director.

Slate @slate . @adamlambert is right: movie musicals should be dubbed: slate.me/TzkIVd #LesMizSlate @slate Politics, culture, technology, business, news, and commentary. Procrastinate better. www.slate.comRecently, pop singer Adam Lambert unleashed a series of tweets critiquing the vocal performances in the film adaptation of Les Misérables. “Visually impressive with great emotional performances,” he said. “But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers.” Russell Crowe, who plays brooding antagonist Inspector Javert—and who has received his fair share of vocal critique—responded with equanimity, tweeting that while he understood the singer’s view, director Tom Hooper wanted the live singing to be “raw and real.” It’s true that the movie’s singing is more “raw” than it might have been with more polished, professional singers in the cast. But the idea that such singing is more “real” reflects a stigma that seems out of place when discussing a genre as full of artifice as the movie musical. Lambert argued on Twitter that Hooper should have cast better singers, but there’s another method that has worked brilliantly in the past and should not be frowned upon: Movie musicals should go back to letting its stars act, while dubbing the songs with trained vocalists. more.. There are some really interesting comments and rational discussion with this article, including a reference to The Death of Klinghoffer movie opera, which was new to me.
