[/IMG] So many goodies today!
WOW! The original picture is amazing and this is even MORE amazing. I think this event has been my favorite Adam performance of the last few months. Maybe. Haha, if I really think about it, I'm sure I'll disagree with myself by remembering other favorites. But right now this is it!

Why is it that Adam touches his ear thingyies more often that I would hope. :-/ Nervous tic thing or.. Why is he the one who has sound problems ALL the time? Need some remedy here for the guy! Other artists don't have the problem...even at the same events. He has to have enough money to have good ones. ;D Adam isn't fiddling with his in-ear monitors. He's adjusting them according to what he wants/needs to hear to produce his best vocals at any given time. He can adjust the ambient noise and the volume of the different transmitter feeds being received in each of his ears. I think his use of in-ear monitors is masterful. It's true we rarely see other vocalists making these kinds of on-the-fly adjustments while singing. It's not because their sound or in-ear monitors are better, it's because they're not as accomplished as Adam. ;D I always get a little rush when I see Adam yank one of the monitors out of his ear, because it usually means he's getting ready to let loose with sustained high notes. Thanks to everyone, including Hennessy!, for providing such wonderfulness on this day. Vietnam delivered the goods for Adam! Love this explanation of the ear monitor situation! And ditto to the thanks.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't think the presence of a boyfriend has anything to do with the quality of Adam's performances. Adam is a showman and a consummate performer. I think he is more inspired by the particular situation and the reaction of the audience than the presence of loved ones in the audience. I think the most profound recent impact on Adam as a performer was the mini-tour with Queen. We probably can't fully appreciate the enormity of the challenge and responsibility that those concerts represented to Adam. The fact that he pulled off those performances so brilliantly has probably significantly increased his confidence as a performer (in fact I think he did say this in a recent interview, but I can't remember which one). As Adam's professional experience widens, he just keeps getting better and better -- and his joy in perforning is so obvious that it makes me smile. One of the reasons why he is one of my favorites. ITA!! I agree too. Iridium, love your post -- very well said.

Adam did seem a little breathless -- let me just say that VN is probs the very most humid place I have ever visited. He had a little introduction to it in Bali but one week is not enough to adapt....I'm suprised he wasn't sweating more. Yeah, I was thinking that was part of it, and yes, still a great performance.

I saw the livestream this morning then was gone for several hours seeing Les Miz. Now I'm really behind the 8-Ball here & on twitter. Favorited a bunch of stuff to go back to. I'll miss him terribly for the next month plus but maybe I can get caught up.
The fan reaction to him on the red carpet was amazing. He should be treated that way everywhere he goes in the entire world! Someday he will be.
Does anyone have a link to a short video (1.5 min I think) of NCOE. It was by Minh Phan and was hi def? I unthinkingly deleted it because it was short but the quality was excellent. Now I can't find it.
I promise not to mention how happy I am that he is melvin-less at the moment.

OMG, LOL, this is fantastic! Hilarious headline and MTV predicting world domination for Adam. We knew it, of course! But it's happening. Really. ;D Can someone embed this article? ETA: Oops, sorry, someone already did, on page 30! :-[ I'm reading backwards and trying to get caught up before I have to leave again in 5 minutes! A little frantic, lol.

YAY! made it to the end of the thread ;D
So much berty goodness happening and Adam was amazeballs as per usual. But then when ever has he been 'not good'...lol
Totally missed the live stream, cos I tend to be sound asleep at 4.00am and I knew there would be goodies to wake up to [/IMG] Sitting here having breakf brunch on a gorgeous Saturday summer's day. French toast ( nica) with fried ham, bacon, fresh banana with Golden Syrup (kinda like maple) and cinnamon. *nom....nom.....nom....nom....nom* topped off with new vids to watch. #bliss ETA: I still don't know who to give the credit to for making it...I just happened to saved it to my photobucket a long time ago! Hey, good memory stardust. Yup, I made the drool bucket yonks ago - back in April 2011 according to my photoshop file. So glad to see that all these years later, we still have a need for it...lol A couple of months later, I can remember seoulmate and I joking around on a thread and she posted a pic as an alternate drool catcher. So I made her this one It's all her fault - uh huh! ;D 8-)
