Do you think we should communicate with Shosh about the sound issue so they can investigate? Maybe Adam and the band don't realize the issue at all because they can't hear what we hear. no, because we hear what we hear over a live stream not at the actual venue.

What an awesome day! Wonderful gig that we had the priviledge to watch - LIVE - thrilled to experience the event as it happened. And then the gruesome wait for audience videos for better sound. The better sound was, as always, disturbed by audience screaming and shouting - which, on the other hand, delivered the feel of the event, and the love. Sound issues aside, Adam did a great job, again. He is, indeed, a superb performer - and that voice... Also Vietnam has given him the best appraisal - such an enthusiasm in the press and everywhere. Whoa, I'll have a truly enjoyable catch-up to do which, of course, includes a lot of berting. Thank you Adam! PS Immersed in all this I totally forgot that The Voice of Finland started. Had to check the performances: three of the contestants did an 'Adam song'. Feeling Good, The Show Must Go On and Who Wants To Live Forever. Both contestants with Queen songs got through. Other songs were good choices and singers had good voices - it will be interesting to follow the programme.

I want Hennessy to do US shows!! The production of these shows is amazing!!
Pat, they did have a US show last Sept. in Chicago, here is the link: www.hennessy.com/en-us/lifestyle/event/866-chicago-celebrates-its-wild-rabbit , and the performers were all lesser known acts like Mayer Hawthorne (I had to google him ). I think these Hennessy artistry concerts aren't as a big deal in the US as overseas.
Finally back in the desert, winter boots back in the closet and hello comfy flip flops!

Are the vajayjays sounding better or is it the backing tracks that makes things sound better? I especially noticed it on fever. I think they are sounding better. I have noticed it lately but agree - very nice on Fever

I have yet to read a post that he/she had been to Vietnam. I was in Hanoi. The climate was mild, shopping very cheap, food good and tourism bustling. Many speak French better than English but the younger generation can speak English. French restaurants are abundant. Traffic is scary because if you want to go fast from one place to another within the city... riding on a motorbike is the answer. I had to close my eyes and put my life on the driver's hands and pray because riding motorcycles is alien to me. But it is an experience. Oh yes, I think there can three passengers on a motorbike. Walking is safe unless you have to cross a busy street. Imagine the motorbikes crisscrossing trying to overtake each other. By the way, one thing that struck me was that they were all slim. I am sure it is about their diet. They always have tea. Pho has really low calories compared to hamburgers, etc. And I was told that they are heavy drinkers of beer and yet one has to see a drunk.

I caught a lot of flak from Atop members when I suggested Adam should not include certain words in his songs if he is interested in Grammy noms, radio play, and no censuring of his performances. In these Vietnamese performances, and I haven't had a chance to view all, I've heard "aah" substituted for ass and " damn" substituted for f--k. JS He certainly is making an impact both stateside and internationally. Wonder if he got wind of juniemoon's comment about Melvin.
LOL! Not gonna rehash this discussion, I recall Q3's post regarding this matter back then had addressed it perfectly with industry facts and from social development point of view as well.
More importantly, one thing has nothing to do with the other! Adam changing/substituting certain words while on certain int'l stages is a matter of adjusting and adhering to specific codes demanded by the local culture and practices. When you're a global artist, it's not only an act of respect but a contractual obligation to stick to the pre-approved script, especially in some regions like St. Petersburg, a legal consequence might be ensued if "the line" had been crossed. Adam isn't the only one, Madonna, Gaga, Beyonce, JLo, all the int'l performers have to follow the same rules, although some of the aforementioned names are either not welcome in certain regions or have refused to alter or tone down their performances and had to cancel their concerts.

Good morning, Vietnaaaaaaaaaaaam:))))))))) The cruel reality of me having to be somewhere else at ungodly o’clock – which would be any time coinciding with live stream of Mr. Lambert’s concerts – turned even more cruel on my sorry ass by letting me actually watch the first three songs. I jumped a meter in the air from my chair when I got a little tap on the shoulder from my kid warning me that I would be late for work… Oh, the mockery! My own teachings of responsibility came back in full vengeance to bite me in the afore mentioned body part. It would not be so hard to tear myself away from the screen if Adam was not so … just the way I like him! You know… provoking all kinds of mental and physical responses exactly like similar to cardiac arrest, high blood pressure, tachycardia, & abundant salivation. It took my brain two and a half nanoseconds to make a quick tally: black, tight, leather getup: check!; face/eyes/arms/all around perfection: check!; amped up to full throttle: check!!! Oh, Mamma mia, que hermano! That vest thingy is so clever; it does not reach to cover parts for which would be a crime to remain unseen… It’s my new best buddy, bless it! When I finally managed to sit down and watch the vids, I had to take a break after each one due to very reasonable concern for my own well-being. It made me wonder if I would ever be able to survive his concert and the definite answer is: without some heavy tranquillizers or high quality weed, no, I would not. This is not so bad, when I come to think about it. That would be some joyride! ;D I’m off to watch more videos, to add more impressions to this little story. I prefer to keep my experience of Adam impressionistic, just like Augenpoesie’s or Animated’s art. I seldom concern myself with the reality of earpieces, sound issues or cameramen. I always have the best seat in the house, with the best sound and view, thanks to my lovesick brain. And ain’t that just great! ===> c'est moi, a happy camper ETA/ I have to add one HUGE THANKS to all of you who bring the goodies over, archive them, and translate Sauli stuff; basically, chew them up and feed them to me, like I'm a little birdie... nom-nom! And I ALWAYS love Augenpoesie's art, and Animated's art and all kinds of lovely stuff, especially good humour and sharp wit; I'm just embarrassed to keep saying that all the time.
