Going off the topic of the moment here: The perception that Adam's fans are "older" women is one of the things that may be keeping him from being played on pop radio (note I said ONE of the things). So I'm not sure that would be a good idea. Also - I fall into the "older" women category and my favorites on the album are the fast ones - the jump & dance ones. BY FAR!  I'll be back later with one of my fav videos. I could never in 1,000,000 years pick a #1 favorite tho. Right now it's off to the dentist for what could be a major problem - with no dental insurance! :-/ |

I see that Kelly Clarkson is going to be singing at one of the inaugural functions. Hey, Obama, you want another amazing voice from American Idol? I can make a suggestion! Yes, and it seems that the poet, Richard Blanco, will be representing the "our nation's great diversity" as the first gay man and hispanic to recite at an inauguration. Wish it had been Adam representing. I also think it is interesting that Kelly Clarkson was a Ron Paul supporter. |

Calling on any computer/YT techies. Here's what I would love to have. First, the clip from Behind the Music of Adam singing at age 18 and saying if he can be doing this for the rest of his life he will be a very happy man.
Then, flash forward 12 years to the China interview starting at 23:17 where he says he now knows he will be able to be performing for the rest of his life.
Anyone have the skills to blend those two clips together? I think it would be very touching.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to attempt it.

This is a little ot -- I could never figure out why Adam rented where he did. The houses all looked rather old and the streets looked really lousy. Do a lot of celebrities live up in that area or did they used to live up in that area? Besides the view and perhaps the closeness to Hollywood (West Hollywood) I didn't get the appeal. I'm not from there so what do I know! I'm glad to see they are out of the hills and down in the thick of things (I guess). I would think security and parking are all included. And, no lawn care, etc. The condo (?) just seems like such a better fit for their lifestyle. Love all the performance videos! Did you ever see the house? It is gorgeous! Completely remodeled, which is the way most of the older homes are in the hills. Besides the big hill, it was really in a great area. It is a very desirable area with many celebs choosing to live up there. The condition of the roads just make it more difficult for outsiders to get there! But I do agree that the condo is perfect for their lifestyle now and especially for Sauli when Adam is gone  The only thing the condo will eliminate is Adam's BBQs. Here is the house David Cook sold in Dec. Same area as Adam's rented house. Yes, it is older. Looks like a small ranch in any neighborhood from the outside. But look at the total modern remodel inside. Beautiful view though and the remodel was gorgeous. David's house is beautiful too. I always liked him. I wish of all the WGWG's he was doing a little better. Maybe he is, I don't follow him. Same with KA, his stuff is okay too. I don't buy any of his albums but if I was into that type of music, it's as good as most stuff out there. I've been imagining Adam buying condo's around the world......NY especially for when Elton John and him collaborate on the broadway version of Velvet Goldmine. |

Ok favorite Adam live performance video - getting it in before anyone else does because well I'm still awake and lot of others aren't 8-) This is my favorite too. Makes me cry everytime. He always sings with every cell in his body. Love him....love his voice...love his caring....love his emotion. :2tears: |

I was just wondering if he used a slower song if it will appeal more. If you look at the Glamberts many of them are "older" women. I think it a very neglected market. I think the slower songs will definitely appeal to the "older" market. On the other hand the younger people want to jump and dance and look for something with a beat. This album also answer to that need.
