I've always loved the Feeling Good performance on Idol - and Simon's comment that Adam liked to perform/entertain. Mostly - it's the swagger/strut down those stairs - the world is mine, bitches, you just wait and see. And those latest red carpet walks - put the cap on it!

Crap, I'm not in a state to be posting tonight but I can't keep myself from submitting my most favorite Adam performance. Oh wait, is it supposed to be from 2012???? No, wait, I'm seeing Idol performances so it must be ever.  I mulled this over for awhile, as in sloshed it around in my pickled burrito brain (pickled burrito--appetizer or entree--totally your choice--but I'm sensing some yucks  and realized I can't pick a favorite performance performance-wise--waaaaay too many to choose from--but I CAN pick a defining moment performance, a performance that made me all squishy inside (not hard 'cause I'm naturally squishy inside) but at the same time knocked my tortilla off, a performance that jettisoned him to new heights in his career, or at least that's how I see it. I give you...drum roll please. I can still see Selena Gomez introducing Queen and not Adam. I can still see Adam in silhouette. I can still feel the fear I had for him. But he slayed it. |

 Quoting myself here because I haven't heard from any of our talented techies. puleeez??? Calling on any computer/YT techies. Here's what I would love to have. First, the clip from Behind the Music of Adam singing at age 18 and saying if he can be doing this for the rest of his life he will be a very happy man. Then, flash forward 12 years to the China interview starting at 23:17 where he says he now knows he will be able to be performing for the rest of his life. Anyone have the skills to blend those two clips together? I think it would be very touching. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to attempt it. Give me the exact starting time and ending time form each clip. Also, do you want any text superimposed?
