I have somehow missed seeing this vid of Queenbert - HD from Hammersmith and at over an hour long most of the concert I think mixed from 11th and 12th. Nice longer views (as note to earlier comment about seeing more of the "action").

Well, as far as the music goes, that's not Willow's. That's Codex by Radiohead with different lyrics. But she wrote the lyrics (which I found kinda dark for a 12 years old), and I like her voice there. |

This is my absolute favourite performance for Adam/Queen:
I couldn't even tell you how many times I have watched this video. I remember when he sang this at the time, after the slow build up of the first half, and I was alone in my living room jumping around like a mad thing because there was just so much joy in it.

When I look at my two kids (9 and 7) I am sometimes baffled about the way they already reflect themselves and others. My daughter asked me, when she was five, how she could get to know herself better - she thought that she didn't know her inner self well enough. With this she left me baffled and distracted.  So I really can imagine that a 12 year old girl, growing up in the entertainment industry as Willow does, can be capable of being so expressional and "wise". And as far as I know kids in Scientology are not treated as kids but as little grown-ups. I like her voice also, but for me songs just have to click something inside of me to make them "wow". This doesn't happen very often to me. For me the song on Trespassing that "wowed" me, has been "Runnin". Although there are songs on Trespassing which are more intimate and haunting and have a much deeper meaning in their lyrics like "Underneath" or "OOL" it's always been Runnin... I just can't explain it. |
