Everything reminds me of Adam! (I know I am not alone in that.) I was just watching an episode of "Leverage" I had recorded on my DVR. In one scene, the character is eating a doughnut with fruit loops cereal on top. I thought of the interview with Adam in Portland where they ask if he had been to "Voodoo Doughnuts", which made doughnuts with all kinds of toppings including cereal. And a doughnut called "cock and balls" which really intrigued Adam.
Wait a minute. Leverage supposedly takes place in Portland. Could it be? Yup, they show the doughnut box for a second and the name on it is Voodoo Doughnuts!

Cassie -- HAH! Another Leverage fan! It is actually filmed in Portland, so my sister and I (we're from there even though I live in Seattle right now--she's in Portland) watch each week to "name that location" where they are filming. Voodoo doughnuts are great, by the way.

Please do not be mad at me that I show this video to you but this is one of my favorite groups (the few I have), which I loved as I was young, and I admire and listen to them today. This song is beautiful and very moving. I heard it thousands of times and each time I have tears in my eyes. We all should be brothers in arms. As I watch and admire those artists, that I see the elderly Adam in this way on the stage. I am proud to know him and proud to have him in my heart. Thank you, ladymaserati for reminding me of this wonderful group and of the great talent Mark Knopfler. My husband used to play a cassette of a lesser known work of his, a soundtrack for a movie titled Cal, that is exquisite. You've inspired me to find the CD and download the music after many years.

You're very welcome Honey, I have a few artists from the times of the great music (I speak of the 70's and 80's where the bands were great, and of course my beautiful young years). I recently forgetting to listen to them because I'm busy with Adam. But my sons from their school years often listen to my small collection what reminds me of the awesome music that I always enjoy.. Adam is the wonderful talented artist today and we will be also admire him for many years to come ..

Could be an Adam + Queen collab . Or Adam + Brian May . Or something like that . Or maybe just him , you know , on trespassing he was feeling Funky , maybe this time he's feeling "Rock-ey" ?? Talon might know, I remember that there were rumors of songs written by Freddie and Brian that they didn't manage to record. I would love a collaboration with Queen but it could be much simpler - working with Tedder (Sleepwalker, Master Plan). They worked together on TSP era and the song did not make the album. Late. I know. I just "searched" for the first time on here and found I had questions to answer There are songs in the archive but most of them are simply ideas. The band used to try out a bunch of songs but then only really finished the ones they wanted to go with. So I don't think there are a lot of complete ideas but there are a few that I know of. But I think a Queen + Adam (with Freddie vocals also) has about a .01 % chance of happening. The only way it happens is if they decide to do a Duets type album...which again is VERY EXTREMELY slim.
