I am very sad to read the article. On the other hand, there were other critics who were disappointed with Les Miz, but Adam was singled out. I looked up Cameron in wiki... so he is gay too? Hmmm.... A perfect song imperfected is better in film?

I think these people who ask "what does he know about musical theater" are the idiots. Adam is a trained professional who worked in musical theater for 10+ years. Also, Adam isn't the only person to have that opinion....does that mean everyone who felt the voices weren't good enough to carry the score are idiots? What does Cameron's sexuality have to do with anything? :

Ya, we knew that. I think Grammy shot themselves in the foot. The Pop queens have such a strangle hold on radio, it will be hard for males to get nominated. Next year, probably Bruno will get one though. He has networked well!! He also had the top two selling singles in the world last album cycle. The Grammy members are influenced by commercial success. Who would I replace on that list -- Carly "autotuned" Rae Jepsen. Seriously, here are the nominees: Set Fire To The Rain [Live] Adele Track from: Live At The Royal Albert Hall [XL/Columbia] Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) Kelly Clarkson [RCA Records/19 Recordings Limited] Call Me Maybe Carly Rae Jepsen [604 Records/Schoolboy Records/Interscope] Wide Awake Katy Perry [Capitol] Where Have You Been Rihanna Track from: Talk That Talk [Def Jam] Only 2 involve vocal performances that are not heavily manipulated -- Adele and Kelly. A robot could have sung the last three. But it is all moot because I think Adele will win this. And would get my vote if I got to vote. (Too bad for Kelly who would win with Stronger most years -- and I guess has a chance.) Rihanna has much better song/vocal performance than TTT. **** Based on the end of that Twitter party and the Adam's comment about giving up some control in the CCTV interview (around 27:00), I have a prediction. NEXT ALBUM: RCA A&R/his management/maybe a producer/someone else will have a bigger role and it will be pop-rock similar to Pink's last album. Although, my fav tracks on both albums involve Sam Sparro and Pharrall, I hope he moves away from dance and funk for the next album, and toward some form of contemporary pop-rock. BUT SOMEDAY -- I really want an album of classic R&B covers -- Adamized and recorded in Memphis.

"Cameron Mackintosh has described Adam Lambert as an "idiot" for his comments about Les Miserables. The British theatre producer, who produced the long-running stage musical and the Bafta-nominated film, blasted the American Idol singer for his "naive and silly comment"."What does he know about musical theatre? It was a naive and silly comment. He's an idiot," he said. "Go Adam , PISS 'EM OFF !! 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'm so angry at that Mackintosh comment I can barely write. It is not worth the anger. Most major critics agree with Adam.
