Internet radio really does matter -- 40% of radio listening is now on the Internet. Probably a lower percentage in the UK but all I have is a global estimate. Terrestial radio does broadcast on the web too. I am therefore not too sure that entire 40% is strictly just for web radio. I doubt that though since I'm yet to see any star that was made as a result. I'm not esl but I'm having a difficult time figuring out what you're trying to say now that you've joined us?? Seems you're not happy with RCA promo, web radio playing Adam, Adam fans listening to web radio that plays Adam, and various other things. Can you share with us something you DO like about Adam? |

Random question. lol Before Idol, when Adam was the understudy for the role of Fiyero in Wicked, who was the main Fiyero? ??? Adam was in the 1st Natl Touring Co in 2005. I think there were a couple of diff ones. I can check. Adam Pre-Idol atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=preidolperformances&thread=21&page=10Adam was in the LA sitting company 2007 -2008. Derrick Williams was Fiyero in LA. This a news thread for ADAM NEWS. I expect people to post any news they hear - I do so too.
What you do re these pieces of news is up to you. I expect most of the readers to give hits to the sites that publish Adam news and/or play Adam's music - it seems natural if you are a fan, don't you think?
IMO there is nothing to lol about it. >:(
If you are busy or don't want to click, you are free to refrain. BUT I am not happy to read any mocking about posting the news in the first place.

Thanks again  ! I of course joined because I'm usually restless and nervous when I 'think' Adam might be having some challenges and at such times always want to get some reassurance lol. Whatever is going on with Adam, he was celebrating with friends and expensive champagne. I think the people who need reassurance are the fans!  He and Shoshanna both seem very, very happy about something. I have nooooo worries. This makes sense. I just wouldn't like those idolberts to have the last laugh, that is all. I don't really like 19/RCA much either since they are only ever able to get success for the idols debut albums and then nothing afterwards. My major concern here is that he's still with a major label that can properly market and get him played on the radio should rca back out of picking more options for him. Sorry all for post-whoring. I'm just nervous. |

Xixioge, I wouldn't worry. Adam is fine. Even if he was dropped from the label, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have any trouble finding another label. DMG is a good management group. He will be fine.

Adam is too mega-talented to be ignored.. he will do fine
TBH, I was kinda hoping Adam get snatched by some other major label who can better sell him and his music

As for what I like about Adam, care you to search for my twitter account ( I use the same name and I'm twitter friends with some fans on this board)? For someone not to like fans being so giddy about hearing Adam on a web radio station or disappointed with how he was promoted by his label does not equal to the person being a hater. I hope you are not one of the glamberts that like just the fans that think like you? |
