Both produced by Luke. I don't think they are suited. FYE was produced by Luke, but there may have been other reasons there.. Adam! Pock that Lock! on now The thing here is that they CLEARLY , VERY CLEARLY DID NOT WANT TO PUT ADAM'S MUSIC ON THE RADIO . ( a song Adam wrote , i mean) Yeah! But those songs would have been huge hits if they were to be released by Bruno or any of those artists. Radio just hears an artist so and so has released a song and automatically puts such on a high rotation ( for artists they love anyway and that they like to term as 'core format artists') I just feel radio clearly never intended to play Adam no matter what song he released. Why the label refused to get him tv promo spots for someone like him that has challenges getting on the radio is what is personally puzzling to me.

[/IMG]
As I understand the relationship between Adam and 19.. 19 pushed Idol image and tie backs to the show Did they consider bubble gum produced by Luke to be more in line Did they have this say? anyone know? stupid question, I know one of you knowledge people do!

Didn't he say his label freaked out when they heard 'Trespassing'? : GREAT ! so there must be more FREEDOM now that he parted ways with them I thought it was RCA that made the decision on the singles. He has not parted ways with RCA

Can you point out which of my posts you don't understand? Thanks. As for what I like about Adam, care you to search for my twitter account ( I use the same name and I'm twitter friends with some fans on this board)? For someone not to like fans being so giddy about hearing Adam on a web radio station or disappointed with how he was promoted by his label does not equal to the person being a hater. I hope you are not one of the glamberts that like just the fans that think like you? I understood what you said but you seem to be unhappy about everything so I'm curious what it is about Adam that makes you a fan. Not on twitter sorry. As for whether you like fans being giddy about web radio or not, isn't it a fans right to be giddy about whatever they want to be giddy about? I'm not sure anyone would consider me a "glambert" first of all. I'm an adam lambert fan but I'm not apt to flail much, i don't buy multiple copies, I don't request on radio, I don't do fan polls..... I guess I'm just leery of people who join a forum and post nothing but negative thoughts right away. But I'm not a mod so I'm sure they'll take action if necessary, carry on. I knew somehow my posts might spark off this reaction. Anyway, I did hint I joined to post because I was anxious about the recent development and therefore wanted to feel the pulse of the fandom. I didn't question their right to flail, I just pointed out that the site is a web radio that doesn't help Adam to chart, sell or be more popular. I guess I'm also leery of all these so called radio stuff, not after how radio sites have used glamberts JUST for hits over the past year and we or Adam got nothing out of it. I think I just dislike them all lol and feel fans should be more concerned with how terrestrial radio doesn't play Adam. Who knows if fans start voicing their displeasure at the way radio is run ( controlled just by 3 major coglomerates) to their various senators or authorities in their states, that change Adam spoke about might eventually come. And I hope I'm not preachy by any means. I just feel the matter on ground is more serious than us flailing over some web spins somewhere. I'm sorry if I didn't articulate that post well and made it sound like I was questioning their right to listen to that site.

Guys , Adam said he had ideas for album 3 . Shosh said he is with RCA . Adam is with DMG . Nothing to worry about here . BUT : There must be a reason Adam parted ways with 19R . A reason why he didn't renew the contract with them . I don't know anything about this of course . But c'mon , think about it . Trespassing was Adam's "Dream Album" as he himself called it . He spent over a year working on it to get it perfect . Right ? Trespassing , as we all know , came out PERFECTLY done . With PERFECT songs . But he didn't put out the right singles . HIS songs . the songs written by HIM . First a Dr. Luke Ballad BTIKM , then Bruno's NCOE . You think it was HIS CHOICE ? I don't think so . If I were Adam I would have liked to put out MY OWN SONGS . The singles failed , and it made the album fail too . Even though it was Number 1 on billboard . I don't know , but I think this has to do with Adam parting ways with 19R . Adam left them . Anyways these are just my opinions . The deal with 19 Recordings was Adam paid them part of his royalties. It was one of 3 parts to the American Idol deal: 19 Management - first part expired Summer 2011; fully expires in 2019 - Adam pays 15 percent of his earnings, not including those from recording and merchandising contracts, to 19 Entertainment-related companies as a manager’s fee. The initial contract extends for three years, although 19 continues to collect a percentage of some of the contestant’s earnings for 10 years. 19 Merchandising - expired Summer 2012 - 19 gets 20%+ of official merchandise sales. 19 Recording - this has now expired (4 years starting with the being of the Idol releases). Under this agreement 19 gets a percentage of all Adam's earnings from recorded music from Sony. They get a bit of his advance. Adam is smart and would have waited until the 19R agreement was over before he started Album #3 so he did not have to pay them. It has never been clear what 19R did beyond take a cut. As far as I can tell, they have no staff. It is just a legal shell within 19 Entertainment. ETA: I just realized, Adam and RCA would not have agreed to Album #3 until 19R deal had expired.
