 Wow! That's harsh! :( What she did is the beginning of change, which one can give her credit for! As she said, brainwashing is a powerful thing and believe me, I've seen it plenty in my life given my background (which are not the topic of discussion). The best way to deal with a situation like this is by exposing them to gay people as most of the time they are not in contact with gays. I personally went through exactly this situation and I'm glad to say by exposing friends of mine to some of may gay friends, they had a mind shift and today they are very good friends with my gay friends. By chasing them away is exactly the same as them chasing gay people away lighten up and have a sook of burrito,s bottle I had to leave for a while but wanted to say now that I'm back that for those who understood my post, thank you. For those who are laughing, please walk a mile in my moccasins before making fun of my situation. I was a christian for most of our marriage but became an athiest about 12 years ago. Our marriage has suffered and we may not be staying together. We discussed separation just two days ago, so it really isn't a laughing matter. >:( |
