Exactly. Also, Adam is in a unique situation compared to a lot of other artists who may be touring right now without that big commercial success behind them. There is an urgency. His label, thankfully, seems to see him as an artist on the cusp. He hasn't broken through yet, but has so much potential, I think everyone is just waiting for it to happen. So for Adam they need to weigh the benefits he would see touring (behind an album that has no radio hits and is not exactly selling) with those that he could potentially get from releasing a new album. It is all about what is going to potentially give him the greatest long-term gain since expanding his fanbase and getting that hit are so important. And while he could still sell-out venues, I don't think there is any indication that he would be able to replicate the success of GNT. Album sales, while not everything, do tell you something. THIS!! thanks bullsfan!

I hope they are played so much that even we get tired of them. The public needs to hear Adam Lambert - a lot. In an ideal world artists would not have to consider the marketplace, and would just follow there inner creative muse. However, Adam is putting out a commercial product that needs to sell and sell in huge numbers. He has often spoken about the balancing act between art and business so he understands this very well. He knows sales in his business depend on radio play so I can't imagine that he would not intentionally try to get some very radio friendly songs on #3. It is probably an urgent consideration for him this time and even more so for RCA.

Has anyone ever attended a Stageit concert? Could Adam do some of those just to get some money? Or is this something that artists do when they can't fill physical venues? Gosh, I would pay a lot to see Adam sing a capella in his underwear in his living room. ;D Wow, did I have a knee jerk reaction on this! It sounded like it was just this side of Porn. I looked it up and I think if fits the beginning artist or indie perhaps. I firmly believe Adam can fill venues and would only increase in size as it goes along. See Mys*&@^#r post. Anyone that can draw 6k to a state fair is big. imho

I want to see Adam in Germany, pouting here.
Rock am Ring, huge Festival in Germany, lots of international Pop/Rock and alternative Bands ~ 80000 - 100000 people...
Hurricane Festival, lots of international Pop/Rock ~85000 - 95000 people... all of this are good choices to do
Crazy idea would be Wacken/metal-hardrock festival 90000 people, but that should be done with Queen.
But whatever, i think i will have to wait for his next album, hopefully he will tour then again in Germany, Austria or Switzerland It is a damn shame i will have no vacation time till September, i would love to go to Finnland.... sigh
