OT: That was the most touching and intelligent speech I heard in a long, long time. Especially what she said about her mom made me cry like a baby. Jodie Foster is so intelligent, warmhearted and wellspoken - I really love her! I thought it was an exaggeration when people said they where moved to tears .... silly me ... crying ETA: On a lighter note: She talks fast!!! Holy fuck!!!! Yessss - such a fast thinker and eloquent talker - reminds me of someone  :2tears:

Has anyone ever attended a Stageit concert? Could Adam do some of those just to get some money? Or is this something that artists do when they can't fill physical venues? Gosh, I would pay a lot to see Adam sing a capella in his underwear in his living room. ;D

Yes, seems commercial success has nothing to do with it. Kris Allen is touring right now and he sold way less than Adam. Of course his venues are smaller, but still. ETA: Just remembered that Kris doesn't have a record label so he isn't in any hurry to release his third album. That's probably why he is able to tour. Exactly. Also, Adam is in a unique situation compared to a lot of other artists who may be touring right now without that big commercial success behind them. There is an urgency. His label, thankfully, seems to see him as an artist on the cusp. He hasn't broken through yet, but has so much potential, I think everyone is just waiting for it to happen. So for Adam they need to weigh the benefits he would see touring (behind an album that has no radio hits and is not exactly selling) with those that he could potentially get from releasing a new album. It is all about what is going to potentially give him the greatest long-term gain since expanding his fanbase and getting that hit are so important. And while he could still sell-out venues, I don't think there is any indication that he would be able to replicate the success of GNT. Album sales, while not everything, do tell you something. THIS!! thanks bullsfan!

I completely agree that an artist does not need to be a commercial or radio success to tour. See Allen, Kris. But just to play devils advocate, the lack of Trespassing's commercial success is the reason for no US tour...because if it HAD been the commercial success it should have been, there wouldnt be as much of a need to get back into the studio right now! (and yeah, no way is Adam going to do a bar circuit "tour".)

LOL again...... do you realize how large Western Canada is? British Columbia alone is 200,000 sq. miles larger than California! Easy enough for people that live in Vancouver to travel to Seattle, but Vancouver is NOT western Canada. Well so is Montana, Wyoming, and their surrounding states. Not sending him there either. Picking large popuation centers! Next you'll want him going to North Dakota! [/IMG] We can take out Seattle & put Vancouver in though.
NO, Seattle stays ;D ;D ;D

ETA: Not any more of Adam than the YT I posted earlier. Longer Bali interview uploaded by @mmyy9 mmyy9 @mmyy9 @adamlambert_INA Good morning and thank you for the link to the interview! I don't know if you still need this but here's my rip including the introduction before the commercials in case the female host says something relevant to those who know the language. I also included the part after the interview segment since I saw a glimipse of Adam in it (I wonder why). www.mediafire.com/?d4ap2cs2abds4eo (ripped as ts and losslessly remuxed to mp4) youtu.be/bK6gl6HxMdY (w/ formatting tag yt:crop=16:9) 2013-01-14 Indosiar mmyy9 Published on Jan 14, 2013
