I'm going back to DonorsChoose.org So many classes need musical instruments - the basic 'recorders' - and sheet music, stands . . . basic stuff. Without music in my life, in those middle school and high school years, I would have been without direction or hope. So, this is where my donation for Adam's 31st birthday will go. It will not only honor Adam; it will remind me of the lifeline the music room became to me, when I wondered if all was lost. We can be in the everywhere. Those of us who donate, anywhere, might leave a footnote about Adam, and then maybe tweet him about what we are doing. Many messages from many of us; telling him of the inspiration, the awakening, the desire to pass our good fortune forward. Maybe he will receive 31,000 messages about our commitment to making the world a better place - each of us, in our own way. If we can't donate money, we can always pass forward a good thought; an inspirational note to someone in need. Giving is so easy. I wish I had begun sooner. It feels so good! Thanks for reminding me. Just adopted a school. I need to set up a birthday page for Adam!! Momtomany I love your heartfelt idea for celebrating Adam's 31st birthday by donating to charity. I will go now to Donorschoose and find a school room to help again and I will think of you, Adam, and of the many kids whose creative jucies are helped as well as their feeling of self worth by having a place to go and create.

Thanks to Momtomany who inspired me. I have chosen her ATop AVI to grace this page. I just created a Giving Page at DonorsChoose.org to celebrate Adam's 31st birthday and to help support low-income classrooms on DonorsChoose.org. And I'm inviting you to help support it! Do not worry if you cannot afford to give money, because this will be a community gift. DonorsChoose.org is an online charity connecting individuals, like you, to classrooms in need. The average public school teacher spends $500 - $700 on classroom supplies out of his/her own pocket, and students still go without critical supplies they need to learn. So this website is great, because teachers can post requests, like books, microscopes, art supplies, even field trips to the zoo, and you can help fund them. You can visit this Giving Page, www.donorschoose.org/taf-gp/276504 , to make a donation. Thanks in advance for your support! I'll post more about it in the morning. I'm in! As a teacher, this Charity is very close to my heart. I enjoy supporting it regularly. The good thing is that you can make a substantial donation or a $5.00 donation depending on your circumstances. It always makes me feel good to help kids and their teachers in this way!

Inside that article: Uhm... Wow... You know what's worse? It's totally true. I've seen it on Twitter, since I follow a few Gaga fans to keep up with her news. :-[ Wow...and I seen posts from haters saying Adam reputedly has the worse fans. We seem pretty tame in comparison.

Of course, every fandom has its share of bad people, but Gaga's fandom totally wins. The Little Monsters live up to their name, and I'm saying this as a casual fan of Gaga.

shirleyhalperin @shirleyhalperinUPDATED with comment from @19news >> Adam Lambert and 19 Recordings Part Ways shar.es/4EYzJ UPDATED: A rep for 19 Entertainment tells THR, “It has been wonderful working with someone as talented as Adam over the years. Through the recording process, we have seen him grow into himself as an artist and we are proud of the success we’ve had together. We wish him luck in his future endeavors.” OMG! I can be wrong but I think I have never heard 19E said this nice things to other idols when they parted ways. This statement just proved that it's a mutual agreement to partways and they still respect each other. NO DROPPING HERE!

Thanks Q3 for setting up the page at DonorsChoose.org -- I already went over and donated. Since I am a musician that was helped along by the programs in my public schools, I always try to support this group. I paid for a project last year (when I had some money) and received the sweetest hand-written letters from a group of students. It was lovely.

How do you get to see all projects available to donate to...I only see a few on the page. Is there a way to get to a certain city, also? I have forgotten how I did this before. Thanks for any help.

Click on the word Projects at the top of the page. In the left hand column, enter the location and subject (Example: NC Music). Then if you choose a project you can link it to Adam's page.

I was at a loss, trying to figure how we could organize this and find a way to give, and let Adam know he is the inspiration for the reasons we find to be generous and kind; open and touched by life. I'm off to give back, and remember third grade and how I hated my clarinet! Yet, amazed by the sound I created when I tried. Adamtopia, I love you!
