And truly Frank Ocean's album is wonderful. But I think Adam could win this because he have done more -- benefits, public support, and had a #1 album. If not this year, it will be next year for Adam. Matter of time. If GLAAD's primary focus is commercial success, it will go to Ocean. If their focus is support and promotipn of gay rights, he would be the last choice. I would not be sad if any of the other nominees won. I do think Adam has been the most prominent and most supportive, especially in 2012!! He, IMO, is the most deserving. Actually Adam has been more successful commercially. And Adam has certainly done so much more to forward LGBT rights. I think Adam deserves to win this. But Frank Ocean is the "flavor of the month" so may get move votes. We'll see how aware the GLAAD voters are of how much Adam has done.

Aren't you in Finland? Just take him to the concert!! Even Adam stans don't believe it unitl they experience it for themselves! lol I really can't wrap my mind around it. I mean, I believe he sounds better live, because you all have been adamant about it, but I just can't imagine it. I'm getting nervous and everything. albiku - Although Adam continually manages to exceed expectations, I know that in the mundane world when something is praised extensively it is often hard to live up to the image that is created. So, I will tell you a story of an ordinary woman who when she hears the singer of her dreams, more often than not, hears a high-pitched tone (call it a chipmunk sound) quite unlike what she hears on recordings. Why, you would ask, would this woman continue to pursue the singer, to the point of crossing an ocean to hear him sing with another of her icons? The answer is simple - when this singer performs, he is more than just the complex, elegant, sexy voice of his recordings. In person, he is charismatic and enthralling and you want to see him perform again and again. The woman then happily goes home and listens to beautiful recordings. I hope you hear the extraordinary voice almost everyone hears but even if you don't, count yourself lucky because you will have experienced a performer who really can't be equaled. Adam fills a room, a theater, a stadium with more than just his voice.

I must have blinked when they showed Adam on Idol cause I was watching for him and was pretty shocked and pissed I didn't see him on the opening montage about successful winners. In fact I am still pissed because he must have been on only during the split second flipping thru of pictures. It is obvious to me that, once again, it's all about numbers and not about pride in the talent they found. For me....this brings up the old question of.......you were only discovered on a talent show?? I guess what I am asking or saying is.......his management DMG wants Adam to be known more than a AI runner-up, and Adam wants to be appreciative to AI, however, be accepted as a "Real Artist". I know that I have probably NOT expressed what I am trying to say, bottom line for me is Adam is so NOT American Idol anymore.....he is the REAL ARTIST that was finally given the opportunity to be seen. I actually believe that to an extent his new management would be very happy to have all American Idol connections in his past. Guess I am not upset he did not get top billing for the seasons AI. Should I go hide now behind the big rock?????

Thanks belle and butterknife!
Hey, speaking of Adam being about more than just his voice, I have been thinking about a member here (and I majorly suck at names so don't remember who it is) who is gradually loosing her hearing but wrote beautifully about what else she can appreciate Adam for. I've been wondering how she is.....

Adam isn't a winner, by the way But in the telly clip I posted, Adam was among idol "legends" There you go... Nothing to be pissed about?
