I was there -- it was SOOOOO HOT and that line was so long! We did not bring anything to drink with us and I went across the street to the VFW hall and had a drink with the old guys there and explained why everyone was in line!! They told me they never saw anything like it before. Thankfully the people in line who promised to save my space in line, did save it! This remains my least favorite GNT show. They packed in too many people, they had mean bouncers, there were sound issues, and the ceiling in that place was so low and the stage was so small that the staging did not really fit. They call it a "Ballroom" but it is a bar with a stage. But Adam was great! And the fans were mostly very nice. ETA: I just watched the video -- the VFW hall is at the very end!! I was there! We pulled up around noon after driving from WB, to check out the hole of a venue. Saw the line and never left. Hot as hell on that dirt / stone parking lot all day. Italian shower in the car. ALL worth it! This was one of my favorite shows. Right up front GA, crazy packed I'm nuts. Love the GA energy. Tiny stage but Adam worked it out! Only took a few pictures. Remember after the concert saying Adam only needed 1 show to warm up for GNT. Unbelievable show. Never seen anything like this. Usually a few fans for their GA show would show up about an hour before the show. |
