OT but apparently Lady Gaga is donating the whole of the proceeds for her Portland concert to Outside In here in Portland. A very worthy cause. www.outsidein.org/ |

Come to think of it.. have Adam sang runnin in his concerts? which? I would like to see him performing that and download it.
As I said runnin is growing on me!

When I e-mailed EnergyMusic, I made sure and complimented them first, yes, on Adam. But then I went on about how impressed I was with their playlists. I was listening straight through and enjoying diverse artists. I confessed that I'm not a radiohead, but that their station had an inviting laid-back vibe, with non-invasive commercials and friendly but not effusive DJ's. Personally, I am going to continue to compliment them weekly. I made no secret that I'm an Adam fan but now I will start being more specific about other playlists that I'm diggin' as well...it IS true. I'm giving them feedback and also thanking them for playing Adam. That's how I'm approaching it anyway. I like this station a lot and I dislike radio in general with a pukey passion. (See smiley above..lol) . EnergyMusic has a huge assortment of music. I want it to succeed. Yessiree...win/win.

 I did it the same way on facebook and on twitter! I thanked them for playing Adam and told them that I also like the other music on their playlist (because I really like many of the songs they play)! Will continue to write them from time to time! I did the same thing today. I emailed them (after listening to them play five Adam songs in a row!) and I told them how much I enjoy their station and their playlists. Then I thanked them for appreciating Adam's talent and music. |

So happy to see the locations back, thank you. I must post more as I want a second star !! Can't compete with Burrito though!! I really don't get all the hoopla about the stars .... just post your opinions and whats on your mind! I considered myself a lurker ... well, I posted more than I thought I would, And as much as burrito thinks she has to work to be noticed, she stuck in my mind "from day one"! hmmmm .... what was I talking about again? ... oh right ... QUALITY over QUANTITY .... might seem like a diss to some, so I'd rather adapt it: quality / quantity = there is no competition when the deciding factor is LOVE AFLAnd I loooooooove all posters (little white lie here). LOL! Sorry, but you failed Psych101. I'm burrito with a lowercase b. But I get your point about quality over quantity. Mea culpa. |

Over in the Vocal Masterclass thread, there is/was some debate over whether Adam would be able to sing the whole thing live, since according to cassie the low notes and high notes would (probably) require him to use different techniques. It's been my favourite song since I heard the whole album and I would LOVE to hear it live, but I'm not counting on it; I was wondering whether the reason it didn't make the "main" album was because it's not a feasible song to sing live very often - like in a tour. :( |

I'm catching up with the inaugural ball on CNN, I hear MJ music all along. Is that the music actually played at ball or is it music played by CNN while waiting for the President to appear again on their screen?
Whatever, it is such a treat for MJ fans.

What a day for America! So very exciting!  to bring it to singing: KC was great, Beyonce was great, A. Keys (sp?) was great, JHud not so much... and to bring it to Adam: ... as usually, I am "jealous" of everyone who is not AFL, which is spoiling my enjoyment of the singing part...  |
