The AdamCyndi Lauper duet "rumor" is making the rounds big time. Even my local top 40 station tweeted about it & posted a video of their duet from her concert on their website. If it was originally just a baseless rumor perhaps they will rethink it after the publicity? Back to the inauguration singing debate - Both girls did really well but I found Kelly more impressive even before the lip syncing information surfaced. Hmmm - let's see. I should practice picture posting again. Yikes! It is not working for me again! I followed Q3's instr: Click photo icon Paste link (I use imageshack) Click Insert Image Nuttin! It shows up in BBCode only. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I switched from Visual to BBCode. I erased all of the non-functioning code.I turned the image code into a link so that I could see the photo. I right clicked on the pic and chose "Copy Image". Then I pasted it here. It's much easier to just copy/paste images. I don't understand how the codes work here and I'm using the very scientific try/fail system.

When I read that it was being reported that Beyoncé did "lip-sync" I thought it was really strange (I get CNN via cable in my country, so I watched the ceremony). I always notice, so I went back and checked. SHE DIDN'T. Just watch a YouTube video before slamming her. I'll try to insert one, but I don't know if it will work (if not, www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGDH18R7GfA, or search on YouTube). No one seems to be sure about Beyonce -- but the band was definitely pre-recorded and they fake played the song. The Marine Band members are very upset about this because they have played live at every inaugural since 1801. |

To post an image....it works the same in VISUAL or in BBCode tab. Example, if this is the link: img577.imageshack.us/img577/1774/radiopromola.jpg 1. Click on the PHOTO ICON in the tool bar. 2. Where is says "Image URL:" paste in the URL for the image. 3. Hit the "Insert Image" Button. In BB Code: Do the same thing and you get this: ![]() |

Why would the band play live for Kelly's live performance, but fake play over a track for B's 'live' performance..... makes no sense. There is some major back tracking (pun intended) going on.  |

In VISUAL, you can also just copy and paste most webhosted photos. I just clicked on the the photo above with my right mouse button, hit copy, then pasted it below. THIS ONLY WORKS ON VISUAL. |

Oddly, the official statement on the SSB is not clear who decided for Beyonce to lipsync. Sounds like PR BS to me. "it was decided..." ETA: This is so funny...because the band and Beyonce recorded it the day before and Beyonce tweeted pictures of the recording session. Doesn't that count as a rehearsal? I read somewhere that's her camp that's requested for the Marine Band to accompany Bey or acted like they're playing the music.We know that she has her pipes, but this event was broadcasted around the world not only in the US. Maybe she's afraid to get nervous and flob and didn't want to embarash the event and herself in front of International audiences. |

Many reporters were close enough to the band to know they were not playing. And the band has confirmed they were not playing. I think the only thing that makes sense was it was a lip-synced performance. Beyonce's people should just make a statement and move on. |

Maybe the band was recorded because they hadn't rehearsed together, so she brought the music she had used in rehearsals instead of letting them play?

There are so many and I am still in the initial phase in getting familiar with them... so I went with 'kissy lips' (which was bigger than I thought).
