Oddly, the official statement on the SSB is not clear who decided for Beyonce to lipsync. Sounds like PR BS to me. "it was decided..." ETA: This is so funny...because the band and Beyonce recorded it the day before and Beyonce tweeted pictures of the recording session. Doesn't that count as a rehearsal?
