Did not mean to take away from anybody who expressed the same wish to see Bowie at this event in earlier threads. I had to do fly-by reading recently, so if I missed somebody's post, just see me as affirming you in your wishes.  And MyS*&@^#r, I hear you about Bowie not having shown himself in many years, but then he also was not releasing a single and preparing to release an album in years, right? And yet, that did happen. And as a complete surprise to all but his closest friends and colleagues. So, I am just going to continue to think positive. Nothing to lose, if it does not happen, it is still all good. LOL I'm happy to see somebody else is thinking like me! 8-) I agree with you, this year is different...and if anyone could make this happen, it's Nile. Bday gift for bb?? hey it can't hurt to dream! |

Bottom line.... if she didn't lip synch her reps would just say she didn't. P!NK got accused of lip synching once and was furious!!

Q3 what do you think about Adam leaving his current PR group and going with Shoshanna to Edge PR? I think that's the name of the new one. I'm too lazy to go back for the name. He is not leaving -- I thing this a the PR Firm rebranding. Unless I missed the memo.  This is Shoshanna's own company. Hers!! |

I am gonna burst, so excited to see this! Me too. Congrats to those who can go to the concert this time. It is so special. It sounds like these 3 artists are inviting you to their house for a birthday party and they are now sketching a plan to entertain you. |

Beyonce did not just play with her ear monitor, she dramatically ripped it out before she headed into the big notes at the end. But it added to the overall performance. I did not realize she lipsynced it until I read it. I would rather hear a good, pre-recorded SSB than a mediocre one. And that was a very good version. Mostly, I wish we had a National Anthem that was easier to sing. It's pretty sad when professional singers have difficulty with our anthem, much less the average citizen. A few years ago there was a push to change it to America, the Beautiful, but haven't heard anything recently. Many people complained about it being too hard to sing and many others were opposed to it because it was written about a battle. I thought Beyonce did a great job. You certainly would not want to goof up at the inauguration. One slip (out of key, forget the words) and that is all anyone would talk about. |
