I first saw AFL when he was doing Satisfaction (he was singing?) Hence my handle. Got hooked when he stared into the camera DIRECTLY AT ME and his laser beam immobilized me. I knew then the possibilities were endless.

I confess I've never understood why some people felt confused about ROF. I understand even less why some people felt uncomfortable. The only thing I thought when I first watched it was: "OMG, that was EPIC!!! The vocals!!! Such an amazing version!!!! And he's sex on legs!!!" But I never felt confused. And of course, I never felt uncomfortable.
To the people who felt confused, why did you feel that way? Confused about what? Was it the eastern arrangement?
Glampoon, Chokehold is one of my favourites too; and yes, sometimes I forget how much I like it until it randomly plays on my Adam playlist. lol
Q3, I don't know if I'm the only one, but I can't get the smileys to work. When I click on "View all smileys" it just doesn't work.
ETA: I'm glad the response to the We Are Family Foundation initiative for Adam's birthday was good. It makes me so proud of the fandom! I hope Adam feels proud too. :-D

He didn't even bother to bring up the incredible range and control that Adam demonstrated in the song. Isn't Idol supposed to be a singing competition?

I don't think there is anything odd or over the top about your story. When I visited my family (my parents don't even had a computer, much less internet) I would find excuses for why I had to make trips to the library so I could use one of their computers to at least check up on what was happening with Adam and with Planet Fierce/Adamtopia. That became insufficient so I bought an iPad to bring with me, and a special mobile wi fi connection. Every night after all had gone to bed I would sit in my bedroom with my iPad and headphones and catch up/ get my fix. Don't all Adam fans do such things? You're putting dangerous thoughts in my mind:))) [gotta buy ipad, gotta buy ipad] So, if I had iPad, I could be online much more than I already am... Hmmm, maybe I'm not addicted enough. My birthday's soon, any volunteers? )) Oh, I love this!! I think we have all been there at one time or another! Remember my big summer pool birthday bash and anniversary party last July, the same day as Fantasy Springs so I couldn't go?! I kept sneaking into the bathroom with my phone to read twitter!! Toilet tweeting? Of course! Been there, done that:)))) After Shady, Chokehold is my favorite. That has got to be the sexiest song ever written and performed. The bridge makes my eyes roll back in my head. I prefer Oh My Ra and Voodoo as sexy songs Oui oui! Vraiment super!!! I'll request:))) Re sexy Adam's songs: there's not many of them that aren't. I vote for Shady. And Chokehold. And Voodoo. And... )

For me, the worst part wasn't Simon; it was the mentor. I didn't like his attitude at all.

LOL, if that was a comment to my post earlier where I said Cuckoo and Naked Love... were 'top pop hits'... I meant radio... I still perk up every time I hear Chokehold, Runnin' or Shady starting and making me move - Trespassing too, but it might be because it is the start of it all. But for my personal top three is getting crowded cause Pop That Lock has climbed up there For some reason I always forget Chokehold exists but when I remember it it's one of my faves. Is it just me?? It's like NSYNC meets Nine Inch Nails, best combination ever It's one of my faves too along with Kickin In!
