Glad my description of "Adam sings in 3D" resonated (pardon the pun)...
Nice to hear WWMF reinvented a bit by Niles, inspired some new joy in the vocal for Adam I think.
One other thought on the videos - Sam is so bouncy - he's like a pogo just bopping around all over the place. So cool.

I finally finished watching all the videos from last night. They're all great. I'm so glad that most of them have better sound than my new camera produced. I just wish I could find a good camera with great zoom and great sound that I didn't have to take out a mortgage to buy. Since I usually make you all seasick with my videos, I went for one with good image stabilization. I probably should just give it up like I said I would. :-/
Anyway, I just wanted to make a comment about the band. Like I said earlier, the band was great. I loved all the instruments, especially the percussionist (much better than a cowbell on a drum kit) and the horns. But what I really enjoyed most was the backup singers. Now this is coming from someone with no musical knowledge at all and only based on what moves me inside. I like hearing deeper voices backup Adam. These singers were tight and their voices blended well. I like Adam's ladies but sometimes they just hurt my ears. Sorry if that offends anyone--just my opinion. I like Adam's band but I can't wait until he can add more instruments to it so that we get the kind of sounds we heard last night.

They had fun   they sure did! I just realized that last night we have witnessed yet another FULL CIRCLE moment: could Adam ever imagine performing Let's Dance during the AI tour that one day he would be performing a complete version with non other than the writer of the said song, the great Nile Rogers, with the original band member on the drums? (having been "begged" to perform by Nile as per Nile- jk) |
