Shady with Sam and Nile is the first time I've truly enjoyed it live. Amazing Yup! Amazing. Just wish that Sam had a better mircrophone. Couldn't hear him clearly enough - I think...  |

Two really cool things happened to me on Thursday night, well, many more than that, actually, but, I got to do a portrait of the portrait photographer, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, and I fell in love with Adam Lambert's singing. I still cannot believe how much fun I had at an Adam Lambert concert last night! I had no idea what to expect from him, but when he teamed up with Nile Rodgers and Sam Sparro it was epic!. A nice quiet Sunday with lots of AFL stuff to explore. Loved the twitter party. It keeps reminding me that ILHSM...when he talks, tweets, sings, or has pictures taken. He can surprise us in so many ways, but is always "Adam". He is articulate, honest, respectful, fun, "down to earth", and never trite.  Thanks to all who gave us videos, picts, and comments from the gala. "I am pointing at YOU." Thanks ThanksI am excited about new music, but worried that we may not get any Queen Concerts in the future. Oh, well we will be happy with what we do get. |

I wonder if Adam will be in town during the Grammys.. Also wonder if he'll pass on the grammys,like they gave him a major pass.. Infuriates me,
that these big time awards shows ignore the best Album/best singer in pop. I know a great many greats didn't get awards.. but Adam is kind of like a living legend .. Trespassing all over the place for real.

I wonder if Adam will be in town during the Grammys.. Also wonder if he'll pass on the grammys,like they gave him a major pass.. Infuriates me, that these big time awards shows ignore the best Album/best singer in pop. I know a great many greats didn't get awards.. but Adam is kind of like a living legend .. Trespassing all over the place for real. Adam is a talented and gifted singer/performer who has the potential to have an amazing career but he's just a newbie in the business. Living Legends achieve that kind of iconic status after decades filled with massive success and genre/generation spanning reach. It takes global super stardom on a level unheard of from 99.9% of artists. and, unpopular opinion, Trespassing wasn't a transformative album like say Breakaway for Kelly Clarkson, Mizunderstood for Pink, Stripped for Christina Aguilera, Justified for Justin Timberlake, etc. Hopefully someday he'll find that kind of success but even if he doesn't he's still got a great career and we still get to enjoy him doing what he loves to do. |

I agree about living legends.. In that context ,I was thinking about his work for LGBT rights though his charities and his music.. On the Grammy side...How about FRank Ocean??????? Also Adam as a newbie was up for a Grammy two years ago for WWFM..I guess I mixed up and united living legend and grammys...ooppps |
