Had never heard of Jerry Sharell (who in the post above tweeted about Kathy G. and Adam being at the same table) but his profile says he works at the Grammys.... he follows many high profile people including Adam.

You wanna know why the Jedwards have red eyes and Adam - as almost everytime - hasn't? a) The most common explantion is that Adam is a glittery alien from planet fierce. b) The other explanation is the following: eyes get red on pics because the light from the flash gets directly to the back of the retina when our pupils are open. In the retina we humans have the red visual pigment called Rhodopsin. So if the light of the flash hits the retina the red of the Rhodopsin is reflected into the lens of the camera and causes the red eyes. But this only happens when the reflected flashlight hits the lens in a straight succession. But Adam is tall and most photographers aren't so the light which his eyes reflects hits the lens angular so therefore he only has red eyes when the photographer is tall or when he kneels or sits/ bends down. So explanation b is boring scientific BS - I therefore stick with explanation a, which is much more fun!
