what makes you sure? Clive Davis has always invited all the RCA artists to this event. Clive is currently the chief creative officer for Sony Music Entertainment. He would have invited Adam. ETA: Clive is also is very connected to Idol during the Sony years including Adam's season. Although his primary interest in that realm is Jennifer Hudson whose new album he is Exec Producing. ETA2: The Clive Davis Grammy Party does not seem like an Adam event to me. I can easily see Adam passing on it. Just a guess. Adam has no professional relationship with Clive Davis or LA Reed who is being honored. It seems unusual to me that he didn't go because it is such a high profile event and because he went last year, but maybe he's had a relapse and isn't feeling well. He was out and about fairly soon after he said he was sick, so that's possible..

Adam had a new album coming out last year. The Clive Davis party is a music industry promo event.
A lot of A-List music celebrities do not go to that party.

New thread is up.

He has been there the last 3 years, every year since he was on IDOL he has attended the gala.

Ack. Trying to reply but ducking bagpipers. Been sucking on too many lollies, Hoppers??? #bagpipers???? Gah. Bagpipers. Karate kids. Irish step dancers. Phillapino fashion, etc. The local school has a pretty crazy International Night. Thought everything was well enough in hand that I could sit away from the roar for a few minutes and get my Adam fix, but then the high school Pipe Band showed up (yeah, we got one: they're remarkably LOUD), I lost signal, and the kidlet afterwards went into hyperexcited-way-past-bedtime total meltdown mode. Spent some quality time in a cold car with said kid furiously kicking the back seat. After the kid was put to bed then came the joyous announcement that my husband had won the kidlet 2 months of free karate lessons as a prize...which then led to the discussion of "why that's nice, but *who* is then going to be the one to switch around their work hours to DRIVE her somewhere after school yet another day a week??" Needless to say, didn't make back to ATOP.

There are two ways to post a photo.... 1. Just copy and paste any webhosted photo on the QUICK REPLY or REPLY sections. 2. On REPLY (upper right button) you will get a toolbar. Click on the picture icon/button. Paste the web address into the box that has http: in it. You can resize a photo once it is posted. ETA: I am rooting for Frank Ocean to win big at the Grammys because that will be very good for Adam. Okay, so when I'm copying a photo from my own stash, I "attach", right? (no web address)

ETA: I am rooting for Frank Ocean to win big at the Grammys because that will be very good for Adam. Okay, so when I'm copying a photo from my own stash, I "attach", right? (no web address) Yes, you can attach a file if you want to post something that is save on your computer. There are 3 easy ways to add an image to a post on ATop. In all three cases, the images must be on the web somewhere to show up here. YOU CANNOT JUST COPY A PICTURE FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND PASTE IT HERE. 1. ADD AN ATTACHMENT1. Click on ADD ATTACHMENT button in the upper right. 2. The click on + Add Files button. Select 1 to 3 files from your computer. 1 MB max per attachment. Then hit the Insert button. 3. Attachments will be inserted in your post where your cursor is OR if your cursor is not in the reply box to the end of your post at the time you post it. (example broccoli smiley was posted now at then end of this post).
. 4. If you want to delete the image, right click on the image, it will turn blue/highlight and you can delete it or you can delete the file by hitting . 5. If you want to add more images, hit EDIT ATTACHMENTS and the + Add Files button. Then hit the Insert button. 6. You can also Insert the same image on the pop-up to get multiple copies. It will be the same as the original uploaded image. 2. COPY AN IMAGE FROM A WEBSITE If you image is already on the web, you can just copy and paste it here. (Will not work for Instagram and other services that block copying or do not have the images hosted on the web.) This was copied from Just Jared. For a PC with mouse: Right Click on image, Copy Image, Right Click on ATop reply area, and hit Paste. 3. UPLOAD IT FROM A PHOTO SITEIf the image is in Photobucket, Image Shack OR on any website, you can use the ATop Replay Toolbar. Click on the INSERT IMAGE button --6th button from the right, picture of a sunset. A box will pop up. Just post the URL in the space that says http:// **** If you copy an image from your computer and paste it in the reply box, it will show up on preview BUT it will vanish when you post because the image MUST HAVE A WEB ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH IT. You can upload it to the Adamtopia server and do not need to use a third party service to so this. This is the first method listed -- ADD ATTACHMENT.
