Regarding the Grammy awards, sales are more important in certain categories. For the most part, the big 3 categories (album, song, and record) need decent sales; as they should, because these are meant to be the songs and albums that connected with people in a big way. "Pop" category nominees need sales. But, categories like Best New Artst and Rock (just two examples) seem to value the artist. And, sorry, this idea that the Grammy awards are meaningless or purely based on sales just because Trespassing didn't get a nom is crap. There are a lot of very deserving acts nominated in the all the big categories this year. Yes, you are right, but I don't care about any of them. There is nothing and no one this year I want to see or hear live. But you like some of them, so have fun  |

Of course there are deserving artists nominated. There is a lot of good music out today and I enjoy and appreciate it. I didn't say the Grammy's are meaningless, I said they are meaningless to me as I think Adam's album is as good as any nominated and for me better. I am a fan and supporter of Adam, thats why I'm here and not on some other fan site.  |

I officially have a crush on you bullsfan!! I don't get the need to degrade the Grammy's just because Trespassing didn't get a nomination. You know honey, I'm not only Adam's fan - I never was and never will be - the list of artists and music I'm fan of is reallly long and various from Behemoth to ABBA, from Jamiroquai to The Who, from disco to jrock, electro house or black metal. I'm a fan of bands and artists that you've never heard about and I know they never will be even half as famous as Adam is right now not to mention Grammy nomination, so as you see I don't have tunnel vision and I think I stated rather clearly that in this particular year there is nothing interesting there for me. Being bitter fan is really not my problem, I'm not your target. |

I still watch Idol and I'm watching the Grammy's because I love music! It's as simple as that. I am proud that Adam received a Grammy nomination. He will always be grammy nominated AFL!!!!!!!!!!! Until of course he wins one. As far as being an Idol judge, I really wanted it for him if for no other reason than to just see him every week and he would have been seen by millions and fabulous! No need for people to be harsh!
