Adam's private life has never been anything I particularly follow mostly because for ME, it isn't my business. This is in NO WAY suggesting that the rest of you shouldn't. They are both lovely people and I hope they are both happy. And since I'm sure there will be much discussion on the subject, I will leave you all to it and take care of some real life stuff today This is me.

I think people are responding to lots of pictures of both A and S out but none together. The most telling thing for me was the interview at the Grammy party, the one where he was in the gray suit. They asked what he was doing on Valentine' Day and he said "I don't know. Probably packing because I'm leaving the next day." Not exactly a romantic answer when you're about to leave your significant other for a six week tour. Maybe he just didn't want to share his plans with the reporter, but A has never been shy about dropping the boyriend word in past interviews. Interesting to see if there is any kind of a tweet tomorrow on Valentine's Day. Ridiculous to be this invested, but I hope there is. I believe Adam will be flying tomorrow - 2.15.13 on a late morning flight. It's about 13 hours on a non-stop flight and you cross the international dateline (gain a day). That would get him in the evening of 2.16.13. The first concert is in Korea on 2.17.13. If I had to leave for a tour on the morning of the 15th I would not be making big plans for Valentines Day. *** This comment is not related to the quoted post above, but I did not want to spam the thread.
There are some rumors flying around the fandom mostly on Twitter but, as far as I can tell, there is no info supporting these A&S rumors. So unless someone has some info about this, I am closing this conversation.Thanks.

Aw, shit, I feel like he is son No. 2 , and I am concerned. If it indeed has happened, I don't want to know why. Sauli has indicated he is quite happy, and Adam appears happy except with the choice of the song, Stay, imho. I am chalking this all off to tour prep, and Sauli getting it together for his trip home. There could also be visa issues. It isn't easy to get extended stay visas, repeatedly for residence in the US. You do have to go back to your own country to renew, and you better have a damn good reason for being in the US for extended periods. Most often you are allowed a certain amount of time for employment, but we have no idea, what his employment status is for Finnish companies. Actually it is none of our business, but it can definitely affect visa status in the US. LBGT couples have no protection or rights. When I worked, prior to retirement, that if I hired people who had certain visas, I had to inform them that if they were seeking permanent status, it was company policy not to do the paperwork to help them achieve this. That sucked because I lost out on a potential number of good employees. What is not to say that some of the recent photos posted, were taken by Sauli, resulting in him not being in the picture. I am trying to stay positive on all of this, and that it isn't even a rough patch...it's just busy schedules. Smokey, your post made me look into this situation and it is truly nightmarish. I had no idea what people faced. I wonder how Sauli has managed to stay here as long as he has without a job at a US employer. And Adam cannot sponsor him for a permanent residency, even if they went to a state that has gay marriage and tied the knot, because the federal government does not recognize gay marriage. You really raised my consciousness on this issue.

Hi guys. Totally OT from the A & S topic. I was reminded of this yesterday. JetBlue has a "concert series" called Live at T5. It's basically an up close and personal mini concert in the terminal - meaning only people who have cleared security checkpoint can see the concert. When hubby first told me about it, I thought it would be little known performers. Well so far some of the artists that have performed include Daughtry, IL VOLVO, Chris Isaak and Taylor Swift - not too shabby. Phil Phillips will be there next week. I get to go to any of them because hubby has security clearance. They are on a little stage and the audience is just a few feet away. I don't know what the artists get monetarily, but part of their "payment" is that their music videos are shown on JetBlue's TV channel on the plane. Thousands of people watch these videos every day. They only play that artist's video(s) exclusively until the next concert several months away. Now, if I only knew how to get Adam in the lineup. Maybe Live at T5 has a twitter or facebook accunt where we could suggest him............................... Scroll down to Events. www.jetblue.com/travel/jfk/

You really raised my consciousness on this issue. I do not believe Sauli has visa issues. I believe he qualified for a foreign media visa. travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1276.html The US has reciprocity with Finland. The whole US Immigration and Visa process is a mess but there are categories of people who have an easier path -- including media professionals.

For me, Valentine's Day was always my Dad's birthday...so we celebrated with Red Heart Birthday cakes & "Valentine's Birthday" cards. Since he passed away two years back, we all get together on Valentine's Day to raise a Bloody Mary (or three!)to his dear memory, eat a bunch of good food & generally have a fine ole time. Looking forward to tomorrow!
