Aw, shit, I feel like he is son No. 2 , and I am concerned. If it indeed has happened, I don't want to know why. Sauli has indicated he is quite happy, and Adam appears happy except with the choice of the song, Stay, imho. I am chalking this all off to tour prep, and Sauli getting it together for his trip home. There could also be visa issues. It isn't easy to get extended stay visas, repeatedly for residence in the US. You do have to go back to your own country to renew, and you better have a damn good reason for being in the US for extended periods. Most often you are allowed a certain amount of time for employment, but we have no idea, what his employment status is for Finnish companies. Actually it is none of our business, but it can definitely affect visa status in the US. LBGT couples have no protection or rights. When I worked, prior to retirement, that if I hired people who had certain visas, I had to inform them that if they were seeking permanent status, it was company policy not to do the paperwork to help them achieve this. That sucked because I lost out on a potential number of good employees. What is not to say that some of the recent photos posted, were taken by Sauli, resulting in him not being in the picture. I am trying to stay positive on all of this, and that it isn't even a rough patch...it's just busy schedules. Smokey, your post made me look into this situation and it is truly nightmarish. I had no idea what people faced. I wonder how Sauli has managed to stay here as long as he has without a job at a US employer. And Adam cannot sponsor him for a permanent residency, even if they went to a state that has gay marriage and tied the knot, because the federal government does not recognize gay marriage. You really raised my consciousness on this issue. Well... the good news is that Sauli has left the US and has come back, which means that his visa status was in order. He is going to Finland again and from all the blog entries it seems that he has a full intention of coming back under whatever visa type...

On Valentine's Day the schools usually have a day where the kids can come to school in red and white clothes (usually they wear uniforms) and the younger ones take flowers from their garden to their teacher (we are in the middle of summer with plenty of flowers). The schools also encourage kids to bring picnic baskets with goodies in which the friends share amongst each other. Some senior schools make it a fundraising event and sell picnic baskets for couples to enjoy during break Adults also sometimes get into the spirit of Valentine's Day and wear red, pink and/or white to work. Of course red roses are unbelievably expensive on Valentine's Day, even ordinary flowers are much more expensive than usual. The florists are smiling and it is a well-known fact that Valentine's Day is the best money-making day for florists, followed by Mother's Day. Restaurants all have special evening meals and most restaurant insists on reservation, no walk-ins. I hope we'll see some Valentine's photos soon

Ok, I care. Will somebody pm me the elephant. I need time to grieve. OK, me too. I don't know what the "elephant" is? And like to feel like I am in the loop... ETA: I caught up with the thread... and OK Q3, unless we get solid information I will just hope all is fine or things will work out. I just want Adam to be OK and happy, as I am sure we all do. I know it is none of my business...

I believe the elephant is made out of virtual gossamer. Adam is not doing much right now -- but idle minds are hard at work. If anything is going on and Adam wants fans to know about it, he will talk about it.

I posted the elephant in the room picture about a week ago because there was speculation in various places about what has been discussed here the last few pages. I won't mention it because the topic is closed. That term (elephant in the room) is used when people seem to be purposely avoiding something that is unpleasant yet obvious (like an elephant). So the elephant has now been noticed & discussed so he/she is leaving the room.

You must then travel back to your own country and renew the visa.

Nice photo. I am not quoting it because seeing it 2 times in a row might be too much for me.
