Really enjoy all the Grammy comments and pics. I am taking it all in for it may be awhile before the next sightings, but who knows.
I just have to vent a little. I am too invested and was disappointed, but then I remember the quote, " The Journey is the Goal." It was never a goal to win a Grammy. Adam always mentioned his goal...to make music and entertain and have a lasting career. He is doing that...and he is looking gorgeous doing it.
We are just lucky to be along for the ride!!! I can't be happier for him.

I know he won't dwell on it and will move on and hopefully it will just be additional inspiration for him as he continues to work on album #2. Gotta run; back in a bit! Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope they wont wait for another 38 years before they let Adam perform on that stage.... How do you flail attached to an oxygen tank ??? Cheers guys and enjoy your day. Have to work now and get things done before the next flailing time...

3 am and finally got thru The Grammy post. What an emotional roller coaster :-/ I think I need to get a little less invested in Adam while he works on his new album - by that I mean, cut the stanning from 3-5 hours a day to something that actually has me getting some work done. I was probably more nervous than Adam before his award was announced and felt positively faint. Anyway, the Awards show has been covered quite well but, once again, the opinions of the press are all over the place. It's such a matter of taste. The Arcade Fire number did nothing for me and I still can't stand Rihanna's voice (though most reviewers loved her). I smiled thru the entire Mumford set because they were having so much fun - it was like a jam session. I didn't think Bruno Mars was that awful though he was straining on the high notes - but he does that on his recordings as well. So does Katy Perry for that matter, which is why the song Firework makes me so uncomfortable. What bothers me more about Bruno and Perry are the trite and cliched lyrics. I DON'T WANT anyone to die for me, Bruno - not even in a song. My thought after the Grammy weekend is that I hope Sony doesn't stint on Adam's promo. I felt at Clive Davis' party that Janelle Monoe was promoted as Sony's shining new star, JHu is everywhere and Adam was kind of overlooked. Why wasn't he asked to perform at the party? Sony may have pushed for Janelle to perform over Adam at the actual show as well, because she also had only had one nom and didn't win anything. Whoever Bruno Mars' management is, they are doing a stellar job and as much as Adam's fan base does to promote him and get his songs played, his management needs to step it up in 2011. Some of his songs would be perfect for Glee, how about guest performances on other award or talent shows, maybe some fashion spreads or magazine covers and so on. On the same page with you. Kesha and Janelle seem to be their shinging stars and spend more on promoting them. keshas is working on her third album. I think his managment need to step up.

Thanks for posting this comment -- and I am certain that lots of Adam fans have similar worries. I am confident that when Adam has his new single out to promote, Sony/RCA will support him. But artists/labels save their big promotional push for major releases. Right now, it is important to Adam to focus his energy on his next album and to do just enough promotion to stay in the public eye. With the upcoming releases of the DVD and Aftermath, plus associated promotion, Adam has it just about right IMO. The Clive Davis party is not a Sony showcase. It is Clive's event. -- Janelle Monae is with Bad Boy records, which is part of Warners, not Sony. She put out an excellent album last year and should be around for a long time. -- J. Hudson has just released the lead single for her next album. So she is at her peak promotional effort. Not comparable to where Adam is on his album cycle. -- Bruno Mars has had an amazing year and the kind of sales he has racked up do not come just from promotion. His album is an international hit and charted #1 in 9 countries, #3 in US. His first two single have charted #1 in many countries including the US. "Just the Way You Are" is 3x platinum in the US. He is featured on two other 2010 singles -- another #1 international hit ("Nothin' on You") and "Billionaire" and a #4 US hit. That is 4 top 5 songs in 2010. No one loves or respects Adam's talent more than I do. (Although I agree that many are tied with me.) However, I think some perspective is needed... RCA did a brilliant job for Adam. Fans deserve a lot of credit for supporting Adam BUT RCA/Sony and 19 had to throw everything they had at WWFM to get it to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 -- massive radio promotion, Oprah, Leno, Ellen, Idol performance, etc. I believe that the fan support was essential but don't discount the level of Sony support Adam got. I am usually not a fan of major labels and think artists are often screwed by them. But that is not always the case and Adam is one of the exceptions. JMHO.

TheGlamilyRock My Picks for Best & Worst Dressed - bit.ly/eHR3MK Adam is the only male best dressed here but mmmmm.. best dressed Snookie??Really??? Just my guess -- Adam knew his odds of winning were slim and none. I am sure he would have loved to win but he was not on a roller coaster about it. I think he was thrilled to be at the Grammys as a nominee. And he will forever be....

HAPPY VELENTINE'S DAY TO ALL [glow=red,2,300][/glow] I haven't seen all of the Grammy show yet (DVR) but I thought it was very well done and kind of classy. (Except for GAGA and that was even toned down for her. ??? ) People were actually singing. I like this new site but it sure has been moving fast for the last couple of days. I tried to keep up but it's hard when 50 pages are added in minutes. Adam looked so unf yesterday. He is such class. I know he was disappointed as were we but he is going to back there soon and he will be performing and winning and we will be angsting and jumping for Joy.
