Highlights From Terra (From Wiki Page):
Adam headlines the first night of Chesaning Showboat Music Festival.
True to its name, the show is set on a stage right next to a river.
(Note: There is a paddle wheel riverboat, but the show isn't on it.)
Tonight, the Glamtroupe deals with a bug infestation problem. After
the dancer introductions in "If I Had You", Adam says: "There are bugs
everywhere up here. Now, unless these bugs have some fucking glitter
on them, I don't really know if they belong at Glam Nation or not. But I
know they wanna be a part of the party, so we're just gonna deal with
the fricken' bugs. Alright? I think I swallowed like five of 'em. It's
protein right, Michigan? It's protein."
"Thank you bugs, we love you!", he quips at the end of the song.
Other notables: Tommy pecks Adam on the cheek during "Fever".
Adam almost falls off the stage during "Music Again"!!! ("I feel like I
just dove into that river back there!" DDDDD:) Very sweet hug with
Brooke during "If I Had You". Right as the concert ends, the first drop
of rain falls, rendering the venue (and lingering audience) Soaked.*
*That was a monsoon that started with Adam's last note.
It was nice to be up front during the concert, but that meant an entire
amphitheater full of people was in line to get out in front of us.
By the time we made it to the car, I had lost my glasses and a ring.
We shivered our way home (2 hours),
Soaked to the bone.
Chesaning is still one of my favorite concerts and the best concert for sound.
I found my glasses, later, under all of our junk, in the floor of the car.
Never did find the ring.
Oh, and the bugs were all on stage with Adam, not in the audience.
