I can "hear" the difference in this FYE but would never be able to tell you why. Just suffice it to say this is by far the best one I've heard. Not that I ever disliked the song but was not one of my favorites this rendition has put it to the top of my list. Brought back a ole PF memory. A young poster wanting an explanation of what "ringing alarm" meant. Two pages of PG explanations of what alarm, safe words etc meant.  |

I love the Stay/Underneath performances but my favorite is the 36 second Keek...slow , quiet , a bit raspy.
Reminds me when Smokey Robinson told Adam at the Tracks of My Tears mentoring session , he had never heard anyone sing the song that way..."tender and sweet and soft".
i hope it stays raw...not too much production.
wow...Keisha Renee...lady can sang !! Adam must hear his "black woman inside of me" when he listens to her. Wonder if they have jam sessions, just singing anything. I'd looove to hear that!

So...I haven't seen any tweets about Adam starting the show late like "Adam..where are you? Adam's late again" (lol) like we'd see sometimes during the GNT! I guess he's figured out how to get his M&G's and interviews in and still be close to 'show time' when he takes the stage.

So...I haven't seen any tweets about Adam starting the show late like "Adam..where are you? Adam's late again" (lol) like we'd see sometimes during the GNT! I guess he's figured out how to get his M&G's and interviews in and still be close to 'show time' when he takes the stage. There must be a catalyst....maybe the venues have a "gotta be out by" time. |
