aleksandrakv - me too. I hope he has a better explanation. I love this man. He does only the positive. That tat could be taken so many ways by so many people. Hope he has an excellent purpose for the tat. Come on, I seriously don't think he would tattoo something self-deprecating in his body. Seriously. I'm sure it's a positive tattoo, like Mys*&@^#r says. I really see NOTHING negative or self deprecating .... can you peeps explain how you read it? I am sure he'll share with us soon... |

I see the tat as Adam reclaiming the word "freak" and making it a great thing, as in the expression, "Let your freak flag fly!" He's saying, "I'm different and proud of it!" It ain't nothin' but positive!

Yup... Up is down and down is up.. Pink calls herself a freak pretty often.. "Freak Out" the lyrics.. Freak today is a good thing.. For Adam it probably has layers of meaning.. LOL |

I don't see it that way either, but the way Aleksandra read the symbolism in her explanation the tattoo would kinda read as "deviant" instead of as "proud to be unique" (which is the way I read it). I'm sure he would never mean it that way, though. |

Adam has used the word freak in....how many songs? Do you feel bad when he sings, "yeah, im a freak", or "where freaks like us can meet"? No. Cause he owns it with pride. He doesn't want to be normal. Like he said in that Equity award. I love when he calls himself a freak, and if his tatoo says that I think it's great. It represents who he is, just like all his tattoos.
